        • @Clear: how much do you recon the shipping will be? It's quite average compare to current taobao price.

  • is Xiaomi actually making this product? I cant find it on their English and Chinese websites…

  • Damn, I just bought the Teclast X16 Plus.
Specs seem very similar, for $188 AUD

I hope the Teclast is better.

  • Hey quick question may have missed it but does the CHUWI tablet allow for external sharing SIM cards (ie. Optus/Vodafone)

And does it have google store already loaded?

  • How good are Xiaomi lightning cables? Do they charge fast? E.g the belkin cables charge superfast and sturdy cause i sometimes accidentally ram into them with my chair.

  • The chuwi is out of stock now

    • Ozbargain did a good job cleaning them out. I'll see if I can get an ETA on more stock.

  • More stock should be allocated tomorrow on the Chuwi.

    • Hi clear
Any other deal for the lightning cable?
      I missed out :(

      • Sorry we can't do a low price on the cable for a while.

    • Bought one for $130AUD including TNT express. Thanks Clear!!

  • Looking at the Chuwi tablet. I add to cart, view cart.

    Price is AUD126.08

Apply the coupon 18COUPON and the original price goes up to AUD145.99 with coupon discount of AUD23.89 gives the new total price of AUD122.10

    • Normally the coupon would bring it down to 91.99 US, but since it's already on sale it'll revert to the normal price and then discount.

$118 AU came from the exchange rate at time of posting and is now around ~117. The exchange rate on Geekbuying can be inaccurate so I recommend paying in US with a credit card like 28 Degrees with no conversion fees.

      • Okay cheers for clearing it up.

  • So do you know when it will get shipped out? It's been a few days already and the status is still showing as processing.

    • Order number? Processing time is typically 3-5 days.

  • I have the same thing. It's now the 3rd day and no change to the order. I have reached out to the rep yesterday and awaiting reply.

Bit concerning. Sounds like no stock and can't fulfil order.

    • OK got the email with tracking about 1hr ago. Includes shipping number. 15-25 days shipping time.

      • So you didn't pay for TNT express? Hopefully they send mine with express since I paid the extra $8USD.

        • Received delivery noticed. 3-5 days from today. Fingers crossed!!

        • No i didnt. Wanted to save a few bucks.let me know how you go.

        • @goober:

Got an SMS from TNT today saying they tried to deliver it this afternoon but the office was closed. They'll deliver it agian tomorrow. TNT is quiet fast actually. Less than a week to get to Darwin from China.

        • @HandsomeMonkey:

Good stuff! Let me know what you think of the unit. I just want to run Android on it. I hear there is already an Android 6.0 Marshmellow available.

        • @goober:

          Received it today.

Great little device!! Very fast and snappy when changing between Operating Systems. It's no Ipad or Samsung Tab but for $128.30 delivered. I am very happy with it :)

        • @HandsomeMonkey:
Great. For the price exactly as you said.

Any chance of a YouTube video showing the switching process? Also how much memory is for Android? I can't see much value in Win10 at the moment.

        • +1

          @goober:

          Hey man,
I've just uploaded two videos showing the switching process between Windows to Android and Android to Windows in the Google Drive folder and also took a picture of the internal HDD space on the Android system. The windows video also shows the hdd space at the end.
Windows 10 is pretty good and runs quiet smooth I am currently using it for work as I need to run around helping students and teachers with their logins problems. Much better than carrying a netbook/laptop around. Hates the Windows auto updates though!!

        • @HandsomeMonkey:

          Champion thanks for that.

        • @goober:

          You're welcome,

        • @HandsomeMonkey:

Sill have not got mine. Says "arrived in country" 10 days ago. :(

  • If you put 128GB microSD into it, will both Windows and Android see the 128GB, or can only one of them see it? Or will it be partitioned so they each can see only half of it?

    • Might work on both if you format it into Fat32. I'll test it once my 64GB MicroSD arrives next week.

      • Why FAT32? Both Android and Windows can read EX-FAT.

        • Ah Yeah, ex-Fat would be a better option if Android can read and write to it.

        • Update:

Android 5.1 on this tablet cannot read Ex-Fat file format. Works fine on Windows.

  • With dual OS tablets, is there a way to factory reset the device, on both OS? I know how you'd do it in Android, but don't know how for Windows.

  • +1

Coupon code 20CHUWIHi8Pro brings the price down to USD 89.99.

  • Anyone receive their cables yet?

  • Still waiting :(

  • and still waiting…

    • Send me your order number and I can see what we can do.
