Not sure which deal you're referring to exactly, although the cheapest I've seen this exact model for is ~$215 so $188 pretty good price.
It was $200 delivered from SE on Boxing Day.

Sweet price. Keeping an eye out for the price drops on the NVMe m.2 drives though, those write/read speeds are crazy. Not really at a price worth considering yet though.

Is this worth buying or are there better models/ SSDs?
It's pretty much the top consumer model (not PRO). Can't go wrong really. Sandisk Ultra II and Intels also fine, but slower.
If your motherboard suppors M.2, get the 950 PRO NVMe. Speed breakthrough. Literally four times faster than this one. Still roughly $1/GB though.
Nice, i just paid $225 for mine at MSY… but i'm a stickler for picking things up and getting them installed the day i buy them… $37 was a small premium to pay for that luxury.

I got my one from futu for $245 with the $100 C&C ebay voucher from this expired deal so it was basically $145. This is pretty much the second overall cheapest price I have seen since then.
Can't really say that the ebay deal was cheaper, as you still needed to pay $245 for it.
Still it was $100 in credit that you could spend on anything basically good as money to me but maybe not for everyone XD.
