Xiaomi 20,000mAh for US$33.99…can be cheaper with the 2% code, but still the cheapest that I can see.

Mushtato wants AU$79.95 for this one atm.

    Must… resist… more… powerbanks….

  • Worth noting, it is charged using QC2.0 but it does not charge devices using QC2.0.

So I'd prefer this ROMOSS 10000mAh Quick Charge 2.0 Power Bank $20.99 US (~$27.80 AU) to charge my LG G4. But I am also resisting the urge to buy another powerbank…..

Edit: Clear's deal is better changed link.

  • Bought this from dealsmachine last time at the same price. Awesome power bank. but it takes a loooong time to charge to full from empty.

    • Which is why it has QC 2.0, if you have a QC 2.0 charger.

      • I have no idea what a QC 2.0 charger is lol

This Xiaomi powerbank has QC 2.0 IN, but not OUT. So while you can't fast charge a phone from this powerbank (Many phones don't support quickcharge anyway) you CAN fast charge the powerbank if you have a QC 2.0 Wall charger.

Given that this is a giant 20000mAh powerbank you'll almost certainly need a QC 2.0 wall charger because charging will take forever if your wall charger can't fast charge the powerbank.

Here's a QC 2.0 charger from the recent Aukey Sale:

        • @safrane: thanks for explaining that!

  • I'm not suggesting that this is a good/bad product and it still sounds like a good deal.

But I don't believe this product actually has Quick Charge 2.0 (though it probably can charge devices faster than standard battery banks)

There's also nothing on the official Xiaomi website that says this has Quick Charge 2.0.

    Just as a guide:
The product page says this supports up to 44% faster recharging.
Qualcomm says that Quick Charge 2.0 allows up to 75% faster recharging.

Qualcomm lists certified accessories there - so far no power banks have been approved, but their QC chips have.

This power bank is compatiable with Quick Charge 2.0 as the input is the same - 5V/2A 9V/2A 12V/1.5A

This power bank does not charge your devices with Quick Charge 2.0. I recommend the ROMOSS 10000mAh that does QC 2.0 input/output in my deal here

      • thanks for letting me know that it does not output QC2!

  • Anyone knows how this Xiaomi Powerbank is compared to this Romoss Sense 6 powerbank?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/243910

    • That will charge slower as the input is 5V/2A compared to 5V/2A 9V/2A 12V/1.5A in the Xiaomi. You'll need a QC compatiable charger to get those higher voltages though.

  • I have two Xiaomi 10000 powerbanks and they have saved my phone a few times (and the wife's) was looking around for a price on the 20k..
Anyone have any other brands to suggest to look at that is as reliable as Xiaomi?? just need it to charge the same rate as the 10k ones…
(My issue buying one from Geekbuying is I might buy other things I don't need. But I think that's an accepted thing here…)

I had been holding off getting one of these for a while as i knew this was bound to happen. Thanks OP

  • I was tossing up between this and the Romoss 20,000mAh…

Pay attention to how heavy they are…this unit is 20,000mAh and almost 350g (same as the older Aluminium 16,000mAh)…Romoss 20,000mAh weighs almost 450g(!)

    • Me too. I have been so happy with all my Xiaomi products that I want to see what this one is like. I also like the Qc input

  • Hey guys does anyone know where I can find a user guide on these? or is it pretty straightforward?

    • You can watch videos on YouTube about the powerbank, but it pretty straight forward. Plug in and press the button, it should start charging instantly.
