Are the YAMAHA Pro-Series On Ear Headphones the 300, 400 or 500? They don't even mention it in the description.

    Don't know; maybe I am still confused about all these 'on ear' and 'over ear' stuff, as someone else pointed out below.

      It's quite literal, the on-ear ones sit ON your ears with no seal.
      The over-ear models don't touch your ears and sit sealed to your skull.

  Going purely by the design of the padding & stitching they look like 300s. Seem to get good reviews elsewhere but can be had for $130 on eBay etc. so the quote $249 above would be the juiced up RRP.

      It might be OK…. BUT it does have 1 thing which Apple iWatch doesn't do.
      Therefore that review is wrong it should be changed to "does all the same things and MORE"
      
      This one can work on Android and iOS.
