Fairly cheap and decently spec'd given the price. Reviews seem generally positive apart from the average battery life. Metal unibody ontop of all the specs is a big plus too. Not the fastest processor but for light users I think this phone will be more than adequate, will be replacing my mothers Huawei Y550.

  • Infocus actually make fantastic phones, and their metal unibodies are some of the best in the business. Phenomenal specs for the price, can't go wrong with FHD and solid metal for $130.

    • I'm not sure inFocus is involved beyond just renting out their name and reputation.

Foxconn is who actually manufactures them. They've had a bit of practice making phones.

The Chinese phones are getting ridiculously good for hardly any money at all. It won't be easy justifying another $1200 iPhone when my contract's up towards the end of the year.

      • FYI

this is not quite a Chinese phone…

Foxconn is Taiwanese (with main factories in China. Just like you wont call the Zenphones from Asus Chinese phones, they are Taiwanese).

  • +1

I've got this phone and it looks and feels great… just like iphone.
The battery life is above avg I'd say…. on a light use it can last more than 3 days easily (thats with one sim card). I'll upload a screenshot once I get home.

  • How's the camera compare to other Chinese brands in this price range?

  • I have heard rumours of this phone having LTE Band 28 (700 MHz) e.g. http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=8618&view=1&c=infocus_…
Has anyone confirmed whether or not it can connect to this band?

    • +1

I heard that too but apparently there are a few variations of this phone M560 V5 M808 M812. I heard that the one that support 3G 2100mhz and 4G Band 28 that used in Australia is V5 (according to Tinydeals) but this still needed to be confirmed. Here's link to tinydealshttp://m.tinydeal.com/product/-p-158565?ref=Android . If anyone can confirm that's this version support our networks I'd buy this phone

  • I think I've found my new phone. Thanks op ;)

    • Don't you work for these guys??

      • I'm marked as 3rd party marketing. I live in Australia and post on their behalf.

  • I'm finding that the code increases the price (it is applied to the 'original price' or something, not the current sale price)!

    • +1

Damn, they must have realised it was discounting the "On Sale" price and revised the coupon…

      • Still cheaper than it was when last posted on Ozb, and not that much more than it would have been if the code still gave that discount.

  • The Umi ROME looks interesting too, also at GeekBuying. 5.5" screen. Unfortunately, they have labelled the Micro SIM slots (yes, there are two) and the Micro USB slot as "micor SIM1", "micor SIM2" and "micor SD", so I have suspicions about their quality control.

  • $139.93 at GearBest using code "M560GB". Champagne available, not silver.

  • Can this work in Telstra/Vodafone 4g ?

  • Ok, so this is around $133-139 depending on which of Geekbuying/Banggod etc, which one would be best to buy from since the price is fairly much the same?

    • +1

TNT Express shipping is an extra $4-$5 US and arrives in 3-5 days after processing. Banggood do not have that option.

  • Noticed the increased price. In the end bought from everybuying for $138 after shitty paypal conversion.
