This deal is actually dodgy from Meriton. They've actually inflated their standard price so after discount you're still paying standard price. How do I know? I've just made a booking last week paying standard price and it turns out to be the same price as this offer with the discount. What a joke from Meriton.
I too booked with Meriton earlier last week, I was charged $455 for 3 nights.
When I tried again with the code today, its priced $387. So the coupon did work.

I don't actually know if this is true but I thought the prices for hotel bookings kinda fluctuate a little as the dates get closer based on demand.
Maybe if you booked kind of close, that specific location and room type was in higher demand afterwards so the price went up?

Great deal. Free cancellation. I've stayed in 5 Meritons and they're great value. Just booked 2 weeks at Chatswood. Have stayed there previously as well as the ones in Haymarket, Zetland & Parra - all good too.
World Square / Tower $208 for a 2 bedder per night is really good value right now for Sydney, couldn't go past the $123pn at Chatswood. You get a washing machine and oven which is really handy if you're staying awhile.
