    I brought australian grown ginger in Cabramatta today for $6 per Kg. The supermarkets mark up their products so much. Another example is pork fillet, cabramatta is $11 Kg, as opposed to $35+ in coles / woolies.

    Yeah, saw at $6 a kilo today in my suburb too.

    There was also 500g for $2.50 in a bag, but they usually bundle some dodgy ones in there.

    Agree with the above you pay for presentation at the big 2, but within a 5km drive of most suburbs a local grocery store is cheaper and fresher.
