      "super SATURDAY sale"

      Nice one Sherlock

  • +5

I still have one of these bought last year, unopened :-)

    • SAME!!!

      • +1

Same …. I am the one posted the deal lol ….

    • +2

      True ozbargain spirit!

    • +6

Time to blend those eneloops, gentlemen

      • Dont forget those occasional gift cards you get from JB hifi price errors.

  • +2

this one or Nutri Ninja Slim 700W $37.40

    • Tbh, i just bought my bf a nutri ninja to upgrade from this.. But this is a very decent price! Both are actually..

    • This one is only 300w

    • +2

I have both (and a vitamix). If you plan on using berries with seeds/baby spinach/baby kale or ice cubes in your smoothie - out of these two the Nutri Ninja will break down these quicker and better (all my ingredients are frozen - including my baby spinach etc)

The Blitz2Go is my smoothie maker for when I travel - it does a good job for what I purchased it for. Of course, neither can compare to a vitamix (which is almost $1000 though - and takes twice as long to clean).

  • sweet, as cheap as buying extra bottles

    might grab another one

  • Cheap!Great gadget!

  • Saw ad in VIC

  • +2

Good price but go for the Nutri ninja for 700watt

  • "Buy it once, buy it right." - Nutri Ninja

    • "Every six months." added

  • +17

get the 700W. I paid for that mistake, you guys get that advice free. thank me later.

    • Cheers mate, took one for the team!

    • Depends what your blending. I've never had a problem with this where I've thought 'gee I could use more power'
Mostly the issue is things getting stuck to the sides, and the blades spinning free

Plus, the more power the more noise, and this is noisy enough.

  • How good are the bottles for these? Got a blender like this from kmart but the lid for the mouth opening comes off so easily…

    • +2

Bottles are good quality and the lids are firm.

      • I swear you edited your comment just before i posted my reply. thanks for the heads up, might grab one on saturday

        • +2

The flip part attaches quite firmly. No worries with the bottles. I just checked all 3 of my bottles and they all attach firmly. Go for it, especially at this price. If you can though, stretch for the Ninja - more power. Nothing worse than lumps when you're giving it a workout.

        • +1

@ilikeit: To be honest, I actually don't mind chunks/lumps in my smoothies. I generally use it to make myself a protein smoothie for breakfast so I do add things like oats or a couple of nuts in it for me to chew on and make me feel fuller.

        • +1

@jaydeenturk: then this the machine for you. This is a pulsing machine, so you have control.

    • +1

Lids are good, tight seal, and it has a latch key thing, so that when you push the cap back to drink it stays in place

      • Oh thanks for the heads up, I would really appreciate that feature because i always get some of my smoothie on my nose haha

  • Good blender, I use mine frequently for lettuce, cucumber, carrot, celery, banana.. anything soft.
You can also use it for fish, but I wouldn't recommend it.

    • +7

      Who blends fish?

      • +8

Aqua man while trying to loose weight

Walkin' with my baby, got a thirst on my mind
        I love my little dish
And I just wish that I could give my dish a
Fish milkshake, get a fish milkshake
Fish milkshake, get a fish milkshake

        • Well, there's my wtf of the day! Thanks.

I guess you missed Aunty Jack in the 70's

        • @Steptoe:
Must have. Kinda sad/glad. Either way I'll definitely end up late for work checking it out on the interwebs. :)

      • I do, but I really wouldn't recommend it.

  • +1

I have one of these, must have made 60+ smoothies and its still working great! Fantastic price.

  • Hmm.. anyone heard of the Super Sat for WA?

  • good blender if youre only making 700ml of liquid. otherwise just gets plain annoying as its the largest size. I ended up giving this blender to my mother and buying a ninja for myself.

  • -1

Don't be a tightass and just spend a bit extra to buy a Nutri Bullet, they are wayyy better !!

  • It's not Saturday yet but the price is showing up as $19.

    Must be a TGIF Sale?

  • +1

Already showing as $19. Would be an excellent buy but it looks really small. It is very portable, might be good if you travel around a bit.

    • +1

It's not small, We own one snd it's perfect. You won't regret paying $19 for it. For this price it's a steal.

Also thanks for updating that it's already reduced to $19, I just bought another one for parents to pickup in store

      • +1

Yeah I paid around $40 for mine and love it. For $19 it's an absolute bargain.
Tempted to buy one as a spare but mine runs fine. Fight the OzB urge!

  • Thanks OP. Bought 1.

  • Just out of warranty, Blitz2Go has a crack in the blender spindle, leaks like a sieve. Plastic lug broke on the base too.

Bought a Nutri Ninja for $39.95 at The Good Guys a few days ago, it feels like it will last much longer than the Kambrook.

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought one for no reason. I'm sure it'll come in handy

    • Same here. Thanks OP and Mysterious for heads up

  • i have this already, quite good, but wondering if the nutri slim 700w would crush stuff better?
I have used apples, raspberries and water and the consistency isnt quite there, still little bits of apples …
would the nutri slim do a better job of giving a smoother consistency?

  • Have the blitz2go, and now going to buy the 37$ ninja.
The wider mouth will be easier to fill and clean.

The kambrook is more tricky at times.

  • It works 60 percent of the time, all the time :P

  • The $19 price is active…just bought 1…time for hardly normal to get ozbargained before super saturday sale

  • Grabbed one as well, as part of this sale, already have a functioning one with no issues, just thought it would be handy to have a backup and brand new bottles to use! :)
