      Unless you have an iPhone 4S or older, the $2 version is useless as it uses a dongle that is connected via the old 30pin connector not a lightning one.

    HN doesn't list Android compatibility, but other sites (such as Amazon) do.

    Worth a punt.

    Order went through fine for me about 5 mins ago. Shipping cost is area dependent. $10.95 for my home address (25km out of melb cbd) and $5.95 for melb cbd so just got it shipped to an address there instead :) Thanks OP.

    Still a good price the the BT heart strap if you need one. Ebay no-names cost over $20.

    The suburbs that are $5.95 shipping seem to be almost random (except 2000, 3000, etc).

    Try your work and home postcodes. Also an option is parcel Lockers. Rhodes was $5.95 for me, where my work a suburb over was $14.95.

    No Android support according to this in the description:

        Should work fine if your Android phone has BT LE.
        But you need to "pair" within the app, not like a regular BT device.

          It is bluetooth-LE, not ANT. You are confusing it with a different product.

          should work with other apps.

          Got mine today, but having problems.

          HTC M8 with Marshmallow (Android 6).

          The Wahoo Utility app can see my heart rate, but not the firmware.
          Wahoo Fitness can't see the device
          Runkeeper can't see the device either.

          The Wahoo website states:

          "* Below is a list of devices that support Android 4.3 and Bluetooth 4.0; however, Wahoo Fitness has not tested complete compatibility with these devices.
          HTC One, Max, Mini, One M8, Nexus 9, Desire models(with 4.3+)"

          Maybe the Android support is very limited?

          Does anyone have a Wahoo HR Blue successfully working on Android?

          @WhyPayRetail: All good now.

          All I had to do was go on OzBargain, tell the world of my problems and press submit.

          I can't see firmware still, but Wahoo Fitness can see the device.
          Runkeeper can't directly, but Google Fit does and relays the connection to RunKeeper.

          Not perfect, but it works for me!

          Now to go for a run on Saturday to try it out :-)

          PS - I ordered mine yesterday and it was delivered today (Brisbane).

    Bought one and found that because it's around the chest, I found it restricts breathing. Maybe it was all in the head.

      The chest ones are far more accurate than the Micky mouse wrist bands and so on, but yeah in your head I'd suggest.

      Scosche rhythm plus arm band is quite accurate (within 5 bpm compared to chest strap for intervals) and much more comfortable.

    According the Wahoo website it will only work with i-crap and no mention of android devices. The new version they have for sale seems to work with everything so guessing this is quite an old model
