i have 3 of these 2TB HDD for almost 3 years now, never had a single problem with them except that im running out of storage

    • I bought this drive and it failed. Not sure why. But it would take a very long time to mount or not mount at all.

Managed to recover the files slowly but surely and then took it back for a replacement.

Replacement is doing the job so far.

Otherwise I'm very happy with the form factor and the speeds.

    • Bank…pay in US$ 28degrees card if you have one

      • nope just a good ol CBA card

        • +1

That's fine… Just let CBA convert…they might charge you a fee.

  • Any comments on the price of the RAM - worth it?

    • +1

There's was a deal yesterday for the same RAM but 2400 instead of 2666… It was 30$ cheaper than buying local. If that saving is good enough for you then go for it.

  • Requested JB for a price match and got the 2TB for $105. Yay to them!
    Thanks to Lyl too 👍🏼

    • Lucky !! My local JB wouldnt price match :(

    • How long does it take for Amazon to ship the items here?

Seriously? Depends on what service you pick and it can be from 2 days to 2 weeks.

      • Seriously? 2 days? Will they actually ship it to NT in 2 days? Seriously?

        • Seriously? FROM 2days to 2 weeks. Seriously, comprehension? Get your own estimate at Checkout.

    • Estimated Delivery 13-18 May

      • Thanks mate. A bit long on the wait. But for that price …. hmmmmmm

  • Looking to put together a gaming pc to play new games at mid detail and 1080p or 720p if need be on the TV. Would the 750Ti be ok? How does it compare to say a 950 or 960GTX?

    • I would say the big deciding factors would be the card size and power consumption.

If the gaming case your building with doesn't fit a full length video card then you'd go for this. A decent PSU will have a power cable for a video card but in case you don't this card is powered off the mainboard.

  • noob question, can i disassemble the 2tb and put it inside my laptop? thanks

    • Yes, it's a 2"5 HDD.

  • great find on the HDD
