  • Save 20c.

    Get a cat.

    • That eats at the neighbours….

      • Nah, pussies don't eat people.

People eat pus… sorry folks, keeping it G-rated.

        • People eat puss in boots? What in the world?!

    • Cats cost a lot more to run… mouse traps are much cheaper… this is a genuine bargain!

      • You want to make a cat run?

        Get a dog.

        Or a mouse.

        :)

As we can no longer afford the astronomical price of beef i might get some of these?
These are also handy for a good laugh… take the light bulb out of the entry area to the house and spread a dozen of these around… :-)

    • To snap up some ass and toes would be perfect, but from my experience, would be the perfect season to stock these up now as all the mice comes into the house to keep themselves warm.

These will go in a snap!

These are great. I set up some around my house and caught some mice. A logitech Mx Master and a few G502s. A++ will set traps again

  • I set up few of these around the roof nothing caught while baits were gone . Apparently the mice too small and too light (stretch neck) were able to nibble the snacks without triggering the traps … So it might only work for the big fat ones .

      Female Aussie mice.

  • Or you could be humane and spend $9 more: http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Multi-Catch-Live-Mouse-Mice-Tra…

    • Have you used them and do they work well?
I'd rather something like this if they worked

      • Yeah I bought one a few months ago, unfortunately I used peanut butter as bait though and only caught ants. I presume they would with something more suitable, then all you have to do is relocate them a few neighbourhood's across :).

        • and in 6 months they can return to your place with their 30+ offspring

        • @iand: They're going to walk across neighbourhood's as a family unit and re-occupy your house ?, yeah ok.

I get your point but you don't just drop them over the side fence.

    • Why are you releasing vermin into your neighbourhood. Kill the gorram things.

      • I put them in a drum and ven there are only two left I release them in the trees, now zey only eat mouse.

  • Mice are clever and usually take the bait without activating the trap.

From my experience, the only thing that works is the glue trap found in daiso. Once the mouse steps on it, its game over.

People who use those make me sick.
Oh, if the tables could turn.
      Prepared for the negathon

People who use those make me sick

Why? If the intention is to catch the mice, then do it properly.

        • There are many ways to do it. Using the easiest and cruelest way makes you well, lazy and cruel.

          @grimes:
Please let me know the most effective way.

        • +1

I am not questioning the most effective way, you may be missing my point.

Look at the trap Tasmaniac posted earlier on this thread.

          http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Multi-Catch-Live-Mouse-Mice-Tra…

It may work on the first try, or maybe with some persistance on the 3rd or 5th. It is certainty the most humane way.

          @grimes:

I see. What to do with it after catching it?

        • msybe contact local councils for any research organisation doing lab works or for baits ?
