Yeah it's free to play, many people have been playing for as long as me and haven't spent a cent. It's the only game I played for about 6 years so I definitely got my money out of it :)

It's very good if you have friends to play with, definitely find out if anyone you know plays it! It's great to have someone explain some of the technical terms and stuff when you start off
I don't think it was ever local in AUD. I purchased a naut the day they opened the store and remember it being around $50.
Hmm, it might have been when the dollar was on parity. I remember they shipped it locally but changed it to overseas again :(
Found it $30 USD = $42.20 AUD. 23 Jul 2015.
I think the deal was free shipping on the week they opened the store. But prices have actually come down since as they are $25 USD now.

@Kugz: holy shit, ive just realised ive spent $300 in transactions over the years on this game, and i was always the most frugal out of anyone i ever played with. Its mkjogo only for me from now on.
Years ago they shipped locally and charged in AUD. Missed the boat and missed the Thresh statue!
I've sunk thousands into this game but I refuse to pay $70 USD shipping for the Ziggs statue :P
