Not very good reviews. Would rather pay a little extra and get the Samsung Evo SSD.
    http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Samsung-850-Evo-250GB-v…

    • Get what you pay for really. Samsung 850 Evo (which you compared to there) goes for $127 + Post (Typically around $135) at the cheapest.

      • Kingston Hyper or whatever it's called, X something, is about same price - much better from my experience - have one in HTPC - great read speeds imho

Or a Sandisk. The 240GB Ultra II is $99 at MSY. It's worth the extra 3 bucks.

  • "Note: A couple of places cheaper(staticice.com.au) on the 240GB, but not after you factor in shipping

So this is pretty much a mediocre deal on a terrible SSD?

    • 120gb - cheaper than the listed places on MSY as they don't have physical stores
240gb - effectively free shipping plus $2 saving compared to places like MSY

    • So.. The neg vote is for what exactly? You've found the item cheaper? I'd love to see where you did

        Let's go with defective product…

And it's not the cheapest price either, you admitted it yourself

If it wasn't the cheapest, I wouldn't have posted it! Properly read what I wrote!

Sigh And people wonder why this site is now reduced to just a handful of majority contributors.

        • @Spackbace: Come on dude take it easy, nothing against you or anyone else. This is just a bad deal. Thanks for your other work though, there have been lots of other good deals.

    • How does this dude say this ssd is a terrible one? Sure, it is not bleeding edge but for a 120G delivered @ $58 it is a BARGAIN… and that is what this site is about. It would be very suitable for most people. I have had one in a laptop here for over a year and cannot fault it.
If you want to criticise peoples posts on here then the best way to do it is by posting better BARGAINS yourself.

Do NOT buy this SSD, for ye shall regret.

While a "good deal" for the SSD (as in cheaper than normal prices), this SSD has terrible reputations and performances on all fronts, so be wary and pick a better one.

this is the worst SSD ive owned so far.
would not buy it unless super super cheap - and this aint it.

they just dumping shit stock, great advertising,
was 130$ now 58$, when was it 130$ ? 5 years ago? who falls for that shit

120GB at $59 would be good for media boxes even if not as fast as samsung

  • Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz ECC Out of stock :(
