01

Hi there guys,

Welcoming the month of May, we are doing a clearance for our upgrade bulbs from OSRAM.

“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.”
― Ernest Hemingway

We agree 100% with the statement above.

All of the Bulbs are sold in a set (2 pieces) , and they are 100% OSRAM - Genuine products and it will make your car look fresh and lights up the road brighter.
We are featuring these OSRAM products:

OSRAM cool blue hyper PLUS (up to 5500K) - This particular bulb offers a bluish light that resembles a HID light that is bright, but it's not so bright that it blinds the oncoming traffic.
Available in H1 ($45) and H4 ($45) fittings.

OSRAM fog breaker (up to 2600K) - This type of bulb offers a deep yellow light that does its job best if you are planning to do some off-roading, it illuminates the road well in the rain too, we recommend this one for your fog lamps.
Available in H4 ($40) , H11 ($45), H16 ($50) fittings.

OSRAM Night Breaker UNLIMITED (Up to 5000K) - The Night breaker unlimited is our best-seller, it offers a long ranging light that it illuminates the road so well that you can see the roads better, surely looks cooler too if you car came with a standard factory bulb.
Available in H1 ($30) , H4 ($35) , HB3 ($40) , HB4 ($40) fittings.

All of the bulbs have been reduced in price.

If you are unsure of the fittings, you can check your manual book or you can email us at [email protected]

We recommend you guys to get your light professionally adjusted so that it complies with the rules and regulation

We got in a couple of set today for each of the fittings until our next shipment, but they are selling out fast, so grab it quickly! :)

We still have got some of the Aerofits for $20/piece as well and most of the sizes are available for purchase.
We also have the Nissan Air filter that is up for grabs for $10/ piece !

The old post got unpublished, however we now have more than 10 sets for each type that just arrived this morning

Was tempted to purchase until shipping kicked in.

Better off buying from powerbulbs especially with their 20% 'SPRING' code right now.

H1 Night Breaker ends up being $32.72 with free shipping and complimentary sidelights.

Used them before and takes less than 2 weeks to arrive :)

When you factor life time, Night Breakers are so expensive even when discounted. Tney last about 1/2 as long, they even state so on the package. They are brighter because they are not 12v, they are something like 9 or 10v thereabouts. Over driven at 12v to make them brighter but the extra heat of over voltage gives them a much shorter life.

Its a salesmans wet dream, charge more for something that lasts half the time. So twice the price, sold twice as often. Booyah.

But they are brighter. I have several sets from powerbulbs. But something to keep in mind, they do not last.

      • Had a similar experience with Philips Diamond Vision I bought them from Autobarn for like $100ish once (apparently on sale), barely lasted 6 months before 1 of them blew. Luckily with the poweredbulbs sale I just picked some up for $50.

        • Can't really compare Philips to these, I think you just got a dodgy bulb, which should be covered by their warranty anyway?

      • hi Tuba, when you say "they do not last", roughly how long are you talking about? I actually just bought a set of OSRAM H1 Night Breaker to replace the existing lamps, so I'd like to know like when I should expect them to fail.

When you get them, look on the back of the pack (a picture is also linked below), they show in a series of shaded bars the brightness, the distance, colour temp and the lifetime. Top bar is a standard bulb, the orange bar below is the Osram. The last pair are lifetime and shows Osram expect about 1/2 of that of a standard bulb (up close they are closer to 1/3). One pair I installed still work, but I dont drive that car much. I have two more sets here for spares but they are unused.

VOLTS times AMPS = WATTS. To get more brightness from the same tech, with the same watts, they must be lower voltage or higher amperage (cant be this as I understand it). I cant prove it, but they have to be designed for lower voltage, then overdriven at 12 volts by your vehicle to gain brightness, but at the cost of lifetime due to excess heat that over voltage causes. Anything else defies the laws of physics. I had heard they use a thicker filament to gain the brightness, but thats doesnt seem to make sense either. Im happy to hear better explanations, but Im certain of the shorter life, Osram tell us they have.

Narva IIRC claimed to use thicker filaments in their +30s (dont quote me, but I vaguely remember it), but again I think it would be overdriven to make the extra brightness, while the thicker filament might improve lifetime due to better heat handling.

        • @Tuba: Thanks for your explanation. So basically, the Osram Night Breaker bulbs are good, but they are likely to fail sooner than the standard ones. And we just have to keep buying lol.
