VGA resolution. Have I woken up in 2006?
No pan/tilt - you should get a 720p camera for less. Try Foscam.
And beware the D-link subscription-model features that need their server.

There are no subscription fees for the D-Link stuff. I've got 5 of the DLink cameras at home and have not paid a cent to subscribe to them.

I can access all my cameras through their portal or mobile app. You might bag the DLink Cloud here, but it is actually MORE secure than any of the FOSCAM solutions out there. YOu do not need to punch firewall holes on your own router if you wish to access your cameras remotely. DLink cameras initiate the connection to Dlink cloud from inside, so no ports are required to be opened. THere are a lot of horror stories of hackers who do hack FOSCAM cameras to gain access because the ports are opened for attack.. and voyeur away.

  • What pan/tilt 720p camera for less ?
    Any clues/links appreciated…

clue: read the sentence again. Maybe preface with "Because it has …"?

  • Decent price. Although I tend to buy Hikvision cams these days.

    • Where can you recommend to buy those Hikvision cams at less than $100?
Foscam cams also all over $100.
Looking for an indoor 720p model with night vision.

      • Really hard to get them for that price, usually looking at approx 160-200 but you get a top shelf cam as a result with crystal clear 1080p+ resolution.

      • The foscam C1 is $99 rrp, so you should get it delivered for that.

        • It appears the motion detection firmware for Foscam C1 is broken and still not fixed.

  • I have 2 of these. I bought them in a pack with the recorder for approx $120 from Dick Smith during their fire sale.
They do the job but the quality is not great. I leave one under the bed to check on the dog and I have to use the nightvision even during the day as it struggles (even though I would consider adequate lighting to be fine during the day).
But it is wireless and the app works ok.

I would buy other models at full price (no idea what).
