  • 60L and 30L…

    • Yes thanks. And different colours too. In my experience, they discount the other colours, but black price is normally lots higher.

    90L for 50-5 = $45.

    Tanker 60l Cargo Bag $40

    How much is it normally?

    • Link shows original price ($140), which has been discounted over time to current price. New version of bag is now selling for $126.

        • +4

          Normal is not defined, so how can you say I am wrong? Last available price before this price was $50 as website shows, but this is not what I would consider the price you could readily obtain the item most days of the year. For all you know, it was $50 for only 1 day - but you are ready to state I am incorrect and this is the "normal" price?

        • The 60L v3 (updated style) is $97.99 for members, looks like they are trying to get rid of older stock.

          @Gofast:

          Normal is not defined

          normal - noun : the usual, typical, or expected state or condition.

          For all you know, it was $50 for only 1 day

          Nope, it was $49.98 last week too…

          @jv:

          Your definition is not specific enough. It is not interpretable by others. At the moment, normal seems to mean what you think!

          It's copied from the dictionary… Go complain to the editor…

          Correct…

          @jv: Who cares! It's cheaper now.

          Waiting for the day when people learn not to fall for you and your pedant (and seemingly never ending) comments.

          @jv:

          So if only you know the true normal price, why ask others to tell you?

          Did I say it wasn't ?

          @Gofast:

          why ask others to tell you?

          My question was to the OP.

          It should be included in the title or description to justify why this is a bargain.

          Just stating something is $40 does not make it a bargain.

          @jv:

          Why not just give the history of the price, rather than ask bait everyone with open-ended questions then debate semantics and piss everyone off. Seems like every damn day, do you really not have anything better to do in your life?

        • @ripsnorter:

          Why not just give the history of the price

          Agreed, that would be good if the OP did that…

          You are neither forced to read, nor reply to my comments.

          It is a choice you make…

          @jv:

          I agree (assuming the OP knows the price history). So I applaud you for encouraging the OP to improve their post, I just feel you could do it in a lot more directly helpful and less passive-aggressive way that would be appreciated by the OP and other people considering posting deals.

        • -3

          @ripsnorter:

          assuming the OP knows the price history

          They are required to justify why they consider this a bargain…

        • +2

          @jv:

          Required where/how?

          Are you required to be on everybody's back? Are you a moderator, or Captain OzBargain? Lots of other people just provide helpful comments or prompts; you aren't required to make OP's defend their posts - you could just be a helpful community member…

        • Don't mind me, i just want to punch for the record and make this diatribe a little longer.

        • … and even longer …

        • … believe in yourself, that's what my mother always told me …

        • @ripsnorter:
          My feelings entirely - we all know the Kathmandu "sales", they're on 365 days a year. This bag was probably never sold for its RRP, so it may be a bargain, but the discount is much less than OP portrays it to be.

        • -2

          @ripsnorter:

          Required where

          In their deal post

        • Can you show me when they ever sold it for $140 ???

          Can you show me when they ever sold it for for $49.98 ???

        • @jv:

          "They are required to justify why they consider this a bargain…"

          What is the source of this requirement you speak of? Is this a fact or jv playing Captain Ozbargain?

        • Jesus in Lord.

  • +6

    Sweet, this will go great with my next bank robbery. Thanks!

  • I've run out of negs to give out :( .. damn it JV! .. they should really put in place a neg donation program, if your not using it donate it to someone who wants to use it on JV posts.. lolll

    bought one at the current normal price… LOL

  • +11

    Probably not the kind of bag for you JV, you never can just zip it.

  • These bags are massive.

    Perfect to pack down into luggage on the way to Bali and pack full of the seemingly endless things you manage to collect whilist there.

  • Does anyone know if it's small enough for cabin luggage ?

  • Thanks OP. Bought the 60L and 30L.

    anyone having telephone error on checkout?

    Billing address error: "Telephone" is a required value.
    Please specify payment method.

    edit
    If anyone got the same message, you can fix it by:

    Account settings > Account Information > Telephone > put your phone number in (i didnt have one here already)
    Resume checking out

    cheers OP, finally got a 30L

  • Thanks OP.
    Grabbed a 60L and a 30L.

  • None left of the 30L or 60L at Joondalup, WA store.
    Got the last black 60L at Whitfords, WA store. (Thanks OP, great find!).
    They have a few red 60L left and some black and red 30L ones there.
    They said rest of the leftover stock of the Black 60L for WA all goes to Watertown (Harbourtown) store.

  • Thanks OP… bough a 90L. I think its a good price for the product. Went in store to have a look first before I bought.
    :)
    Went with the click and collect option. Not sure if the discounted price was available in store or not. The store did not have the 90L in stock.
