    Thanks TA

Decent price for Perth as well.

  • Fantastic airfares everywhere!!! Tourism Australia must be devo no-ones holidaying within Aus

  • Wow… Amazing price.

    • Yeah I know. I was thinking that must be one way lol✈🛩🛫🛬

      • Yeah, or maybe they figure if Trump gets in charge there won't be a country left anyway :)

  • Even cheaper so maybe worth waiting a little

17 Oct - 26 Oct SYD - LAX $729 American $750 United $750 Air Canada (Via Vancouver) IWTF
17 Oct - 26 Oct SYD - LAX $737 United $739 Air Canada (Via VCR) Momondo

    Let the price wars begin

  • Where are the "Why is Adelaide more expensive than Perth? Perth is further" brigade?!

    • Why is Adelaide more expensive than Perth? Perth is further.

    • Why is Adelaide more expensive than Perth? Perth is further X 2!

  • WOW…US trip are so cheap these days …

  • Hollywood … here I come !!!

  • Awesome mate! Is this your job though? Lol

For Qantas the departure dates are 17 October - 24 November with no minimum stay requirement. Should note that you can return in December (including over xmas/ny) but not depart.

    Getting more difficult to resist…

  • Curious on what the cheapest price and route anyone has gone to the USA for one-way? Maybe Hawaii for $400 and then 150-200 to mainland?

    • Looked at doing something recently

Jetstar sale $229 to Hawaii. Virgin America $300 last leg. Hawaiian were similar but Virgin are better

Cheap fare to be mugged by thugs in downtown L.A.

    • thugs vs crocs, which country has the most dangerous predators?

    • Went to downtown L.A. Didn't get mugged, was actually really cool.

Bit the bullet. Going to see my son in San Diego for a week. Ye Ha. Thanks ( but not from the credit card).

  • That is a really good deal. Time to visit america again. I guess there is no chance of parity in the dollar thoug.

Check back in 2025. Or next year if they Trump.

  • Such good prices, but a little overwhelmed on where to stay and what to do. I'm mostly interested in theme parks and shopping, any reccs?

    • Anaheim. Aim for a motel near this IHOP
(I've done Park Vue and Tropicana)
Halloween in LA? Get a Skip the Line pass to Halloween Horror Nights @ Universal Studios.
      You're welcome.

      • Yeah it seems Anaheim is my best option! Do you recommend hiring a car? traffic there doesn't look pleasant. Yes, those passes are a godsend

        • Nah, take the Disney bus

        • Hire a car, take a trip down to San Diego (Zoo), walk over the border and visit Tijuana.

        • +2

@Wolfy: +1 on hiring the car, if you think you can hack the driving. It allows you to visit other places, like outlet shopping, some of the theme parks with more scary rides, go to Yosemite or the coastal drive up to San Fran. The aquarium at Monterey is fantastic and Yosemite is terrific. There are some decent priced motels outside the park that don't cost an arm and a leg.

        • @Wolfy: San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park are great, but skip Tijuana. Its just a waste of time

        • @try2bhelpful: awesome, thanks for the suggestions!

      • Im a red lion convert. Stayed at the sheridan and a few others there. Red Lions rooms are a little nicer. Can get good prices if you wait for deals and the 10% / 20% hotel.com etc prices. For Dec spent more on 2 nights at grand california than 8 at the redlion.

Never splurge for a park view room (for fireworks) as its a waste of money and dont pay for breakfasts … get it along the strip or at the ihop.

I use mostly private transit companies as its works out cheaper if you have 3+ people than the bus from LAX.

Also dont forget if you plan on going to disney for 3+ days consider the 10day pass that qantas do. Will get you into both parks at anytime + one day early entry. Works out at about $400 aud per adult which is equivalent to 3 or so days at disney.
