    WARNING:

My spare Samsung S4 I was gonna sell, is now a dead Samsung S4 thanks to a microsim adapter.
If the nano sim falls out of the micro adapter, the adapter hooks over the SIM pins and it's virtually impossible to pull it out without killing a pin. My cousin killed a HTC M8 this way too.

    • I also know people who have killed phones this way. Easily done unfortunately.

    • +1

Make sure you have a thin double sided tape in place. Never had issues with mine.

    • +1

nearly lost my s4 twice from this exact same thing..

    • I have killed an old phone this way too, but other people here have suggested I could have saved it by cutting a small thin strip of plastic with the same width of the sim and insert it in to separate the pin and make the sim unstuck. I have never tried that myself though.

Also coupon code doesn't seem to do anything for Original Xiaomi Yi Mini Wifi Night Vision IP Camera Wireless 720P?

I get the error: "Single unit pricing will be applied with coupon codes; coupons cannot be used with VIP price, promotion prices, special offer prices, or a group deal at the same time."

    • +1

Thanks Can you please check your cart if you have 1 or 2 units in your card. Only one unit per account.

      • Sorry I meant the coupon code doesn't apply a discount - $28.99 is the standard price for the Xiaomi Yi

  • Not working for me.

    ?

  • Code not working for the flying helicopter :(

Got it working can only buy one at a time.

  • Congrat MM. 1000th post. It's fully sick, mate.

  • +1

Hi Monty - why are you selling the Xiaomi Yi Wifi camera to us when it only works in China.
Source: lots of reviews saying it doesnt work. Eg below:

It is not working out of China because its Chinese version. The YI support said that "Its is banned for use in other countries and it can NOT be used outside Mainland China. It is only officially sold in mainland China and Chinese version cameras manufactured after 1st November 2015 work in mainland China only, otherwise it will fail to pair or fail to connect."

    • +1

Yep did some research and it looks like the updates are bricking them if you are not in China.

Also they are locking people out with 5000(?) server error so definitely not worth buying at this point.
Can anyone recommend another bang for buck IP camera?

      • +1

+1 to - Can anyone recommend another bang for buck IP camera?
Looking for a couple cameras to monitor my pet from the office/mobile app

        • Please let me know if you end up finding something :)

        • +1

Ended up getting vstarcam c7824wip for $50

        • @SevenSmurfs: thanks mate. I'll check it out

        • @SevenSmurfs:

where did you gey your camera from?

        • @jamba:

          Aliexpress - hasn't arrived yet though…

  • The Samsung 32GB is done, back to the regular price of 8.42USD, if you're a new customer (or have an unused email) and can get the extra 2USD off then it's still really cheap.

On a side note mine have been shipped already, and Cashrewards tracked too, though i'm not sure if it will pay out. If it does then the final price would be ~8AUD for the 32GB evo and ~10AUD for the quad, pretty amazing.

  • Bought two M1Ses

Heli expired "The Promotion code has exceeded the number of times it can be used, please recheck and try again."

  • Receiving error "The Promotion code has exceeded the number of times it can be used, please recheck and try again." for code MM-1000-2 :(

  • I bought the 64GB Kingston for $11.90US = $16.78AUD paypal (Not as cheap as previously with the code for $10.70US)
    http://www.everbuying.net/product1032133.html

  • Some great work monty - well done to you.

  • What's the delivery times like with these guys? 3 weeks I assume
