  • Thanks, bought the k810. Will cancel the order for it at Mwave.

    • How does that compare to k380 or k480?

      • +3

Difficult to compare something they don't own.

      • As 4agte states, I haven't used either of those or the k810. K810 is actually for my partner so hope she likes it. Has to be better than the $9 target keyboard she is currently using :)

        • nope K810 has serious problems. see discussions on forums. I wouldn't ever recommend them.

Mine comes up with minimum $49 spend for free shipping.

What ever happened to all those Logitech shop deals from a few years back

    • +1

They bought so much stock that the market crashed and they had to bury millions of unsold product in a New Mexico landfill.

      • Wow it must be on top of the Atari stock!

  • +1

Great price on the M570 :)
Great mouse too. Been using it for almost a year and haven't looked back!

    • +1

true, I do CAD drafting and this is by far the most convenient mouse for my job

    • Ironically, I use the mouse as a laptop mouse. It's bulky but since it doesn't need much space to use it, I find it convienent to use compared to smaller conventional mouses.

      • I do too. I like it :)

        • I have been using Logitech trackball for at least the last 15 years. From the cord to the wireless and now this unifying version. I still own several mouses and trackpad too, but 99% of the time I prefer to use a trackball over a mouse or a trackpad.

    • Prefer the g600 shame black isnt as cheap as the white version right now.

macros are godly for any program.

      • Apples and oranges, odourfulsox.

        • Well not really cause you have to pick one or the other while apples and oranges you can have both.

Ether thumb panning or thumb macros buttons. For productivity macros saves way too much time.

        • @Smellysocks: Hmm well then to use your analogy, you can have both types of mouses/mice too. You can have a trackball and a regular mouse. You just can't use them both at the same time (but you can have them both plugged in at the same time).

Same as apples and oranges! You can have both too - but not at the same time.

I don't disagree with macros being useful. Was just saying these two aren't really comparable mouses - which was the reason I said apples and oranges (nothing to do with being able to use both at the same time or not).

    • Same for me, bought mine over 2 years ago and love it!

The only downside I would mention is the amount of dirt/grime that builds up on the interior of the trackball. I'm always cleaning mine at least once every 2 days.

  • what an ugly mouse.

    • +2

      But very versatile to use.

    • I might look at the keyboard to type… But I certainly don't look at the mouse to move!

    • You're right. Also I checked the reviews and there are people to comment on double clicking and trackball problems. It''s too much of a hassle. I'll pass.

      • I read that stuff too. Made me hesitate before I bought it last year but I'm happy with it! Haven't had any issues.

        • Do you find it faster it slower than a mouse to operate?

        • +1

@Make it so: Hmm… it's different. If you really wanted an answer I'd probably say a little slower? But this mouse is more about precision. It's to do with using your thumb as opposed to your whole wrist/hand to move the cursor.

Don't think about gaming with this mouse.

        • +1

          @Make it so:

Whether it is faster or slower all depended upon how you setup the SetPoint program for your Logitech device. I use this trackball for everything else except on certain games which I do find a mouse is better.

        • @illumination: Thanks. I'm not actually interested in using it for gaming, just for work purposes. I just want to know whether I may end up being frustrated.

      • Isn't double click issue from Logitech using Omron China switches though? I had that problem with their Performance MX (fortunately not with the M570 yet).

      • I don't have any issues with double clicking or any trackball problems. You can use the Logitech SetPoint program to set any of the buttons on the trackball to perform a "double clicking action" with just one click. I personally prefer to set the "double clicking" by just one click on the wheel button and have the "forward" and "backward" on button 4 and 5, but when I'm on excel it will become my "copy" and "paste" button.

      • +1

I have 2 of these trackballs. Use them everyday as my default mouse for all applications for last approx 6 years. Never had a double click issue. Brilliant and just keep going. I also have the K310 washable keyboard (not in this sale darn) which is the first washable keyboard I have ever used that felt like a normal keyboard. Logitech have been good by me.

  • :( No sale for K830 keyboard touch pad.

  • Ive been using the Logitech M570 for years, absolutely love it. It is very comfortable and also quite well built i should say. It has survived quite a few drops from bed height onto the floor. The ball falls out when the mouse hits the floor, but just clicks back into place and away you go. The battery life is also quite good. I just ended up purchasing another one from this deal for my wife's laptop. Thanks OP for sharing the deal.

  • Up vote for the trackball.

  • +1

Bought the Logitech M570 years ago because I got hit by a bad case of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) in my right wrist. This mouse was a lifesaver as all I had to move was my thumb and fingers. Still using it till this day. No issues whatsoever.

    • This is actually why I decided to buy this to try and prevent this in the first place.

Was that caused by using a regular mouse too often/long? I have wondered though.. could you not develop thumb issues with a trackball mouse… LOL

      • The chiropractor said that could be one of the contributing factors. No joke really. Moving my wrist in any direction resulted in shooting pains. Still remember the chiro guy pulling my finger and jerking my wrist in the process, it was pain unimaginable. The advice given was to run hot water and then cold water on my wrist a couple of times. It's all good now and never went back to normal mouse since. No idea on thumb issues. Have not develop any yet :-)

  • Hmm, are we suppose to get the free shipping option if your order is over $49 US. Mine is not showing the option anywhere.
    - NVM just saw it is US only. :(

  • Just took delivery of my K800 and M570. Thanks OP.
