Free Game

Anyone who buys a ticket to see Warcraft at participating HOYTS cinema locations in Australia and New Zealand between June 16 and July 13 will receive a free digital copy (whilst supplies last) of World of Warcraft.

I'm fairly certain that all expansions are included, with exception to Legion, however Warlords of Draenor may not be included

The Warcraft movie will sweep into theaters globally in the coming weeks, and we’re excited to share details on some of the major Warcraft movie promotions occurring around the world—including a very special World of Warcraft in-game gift in celebration of the film’s release.           I have a friend who lost his uni degree because of WoW.

          But it is fine, as long as you have good self-control and do not fall into raid.

        Actually it is (probably) less then a few. When you consider it was dipping down past 5million by the time they stopped counting (because they knew that their drop in numbers looked awful) AND the fact that half or more than half are Chinese and are on a completely different type of subscription. Then… well you probably have LESS then a few (3) million (outside of China).

        Just got sent an email from them giving me the lastest expansion and a free week or two. If that doesn't smell desperate I don't know what it. Good riddance really. LOL, and they are so scared of Vanilla that they have to shut it down.

          They always do that just before a new expansion - you get the previous expansion plus a few free days. They want as many people as possible levelling up characters so they'll buy the new expansion. It's the only time I play WoW.

      yes, but you can buy game time with in game gold now, so never have to pay a subscription if you play enough to make the gold.

    I have received a email last month from Blizzard and they offer me a copy of Warlords of Draenor with 7 days game time for free on my old account which I haven't touch for 4 years.

    But it is a smart way to get more players on WoW. It is a good game if you don't fall into the raid as it will required a lot of time that you may not have, in fact most of their subscribers are casual players.

    Wow was good the first few expansions. No way I'd go back playing this game again. Turned shit a few years ago and I doubt it'd be better now

        most of the players are casual, though.

        You wouldn't have this many expansions if they catered for the basement dwellers who do nothing but play the game and do mythic raiding.

    I still like this game and play very casually and these days it is easy to make gold from soloing old raids to garrison missions and professions and pay for my subscription thru this and have so for last 6-8 months. People will always rag on this game but imo it is still loads of fun. I dont raid anymore but pvp a bit and manage to have a life. For The Horde!!!

    If Warlord of Draenor isn't included isn't this just the same as the starter edition which has always been free for at least the last few years up to level 20?

      Warlords of Draenor is included in the base game now. So you can level all the way up to the current max level with this free copy of the game.

      Free 30 days to play as well, and then a subscription OR game time for gold
