    Looks pretty much the same as the ones you can get on ebay for 1/4 of the price.

    • These are good quality units and incomparable to the cheap models IMO. I bought a Sunbeam DT5600 which broke down after a few uses while my parents have been using their Ezidri Snackmaker (next model up to this) weekly for over five years. I'm not sure I'd trust an unbranded dehydrator enough to leave it unattended for ~8 hours either.

  • Always have been curious about what the running cost for these is? Isn't it like running a toaster and a fan for 24 hours every time you make somthing?

    • It costs about $1 to run this 500W model for 8 hours, so it's pretty negligible.
