Can’t comment on the tefal but I have the Philips XL one and it’s superb. I feel it’s the best kitchen gadget that I have ever purchased.
ive heard the xl has more problems than the smaller one
My Philips XL has been working flawlessly for 6months and knock wood, it'll stay like that :)
What kind of problem have you heard about the Philips XL (just to look out for)?
Tefal make poor products, don't expect it to last more than 2 years.
fry pans have been allright.
I've read every review on the internet (twice) for both Tefal and Phillips and I'm not convinced I even need one.
In summary:
- They're awesome!
- They create white smoke.
- It broke 3 times I'm never buying one again.
- Mine has worked flawlessly for 2 years.
- Make sure you get the bigger one
- Don't waste your money!
- It's healthy!
- You still need oil to make it taste better.
- It takes up half my kitchen.
- It's the best thing I've ever bought.
Was looking at this, the reviews really are incredibly unimpressed…
Like I said below, I think they're excellent machines. You can have chips that are generally less calories than a jacket potato with a dollop of butter. Reviews I've seen are pretty good…..
I've got the smaller model and it's excellent. Makes fab chips.
