    These are good quality games

  • Yay. Adding more to my collection. Thanks, OP

Are these the full game? Like no IAP or half episodes or anything?

    • +1

full game, but there are IAP if you want to express unlock characters or every map etc. ($10 USD by the look of it)

EDIT: also it says on the google store page that they have IAPs, but as above.. usually it's just for the express unlocking of characters etc.

Is there a way to sync saves between PC and Mobile per chance?

    • +4

Be careful. If you have a PC version of these games then the answer is no. These are Lego games for mobile devices and their saves are not compatible with PC Lego games.

        Thanks for answer.

    How much are these normally?
What age group are these for?

    • +1

Google cache shows $4.99, but I have a feeling that it's in USD. Itunes is showing $7.99

    • +2

      Kids aged 4 to 104.

Marvel and Beyond Gotham, at the very least, are good enough for adults.

      • Lotr was amazing fun if you're a lotr fan. Open world middle earth, interchangeable characters. Can't go wrong with that formula! There's even an achievement for taking the Hobbits to Isengard! What did I say?????

Previous sale for the two Batman games had them at $2.63, which was meant to be cheapest ever price at the time
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/239694

Previously asked for suitability for a 7yr old, and reactor kindly replied with

"Beyond Gotham has more levels and characters to choose from and is generally less 'dark'
Edit: having said that they're both still suitable for a 7 year old, but BG would have more to do and unlock"

Do these games have controller support?

    • -1

I would expect them to, they are part of google play which has controller support for most games.

      • +1

I don't think think they do support controllers. They look like the vita and 3ds versions but the controls have been adapted for touch gestures

        • don't 3ds have touch gestures?

        • @lippyskillz: you can play with the d-pad and buttons. This one seems to be more swipe and touch enemies to atrack

      • +2

I tried Lord of The Rings out with a Moga Hero Power - doesn't work in either A mode (Moga) or B mode (emulate-a-standard-HID-controller). Pretty disappointing.

Side note: In my experience, it's really not the case that Google Play "has controller support for most games". I've found controller support is quite patchy / haphazard, and whether a title will support your controller is often tricky to determine before you commit to buying.

video review here of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwhw1dKNQ50

  • Which one is the best?

    • +1

depends on your likings of superhores etc. though I bought the Ninjago one as I pretty much have the rest of them already on other consoles.. the Ninjago game was only on 3DS and Vita and I don't have either of those. Also Ninjago doesn't have In App Purchases.

Marvel super heroes is my fave

  • Thanks OP bought 3

Is here multiplayer mode for these Android versions?

  • +1

Have never played a mobile / portable version of the LEGO games (have assumed that they would be horrible in comparison to PC / console). Worth the risk at 99c each.

  • Wonder if they work on Android TV.

  • can these be installed on multiple devices? I have a few tablets, so if I purchase on one - can I install on another?

    • +6

I'm not sure if there's a limit but I've never had a problem installing apps/games from Google Play on multiple devices.

  • +1

Is there a way to buy these without installing them to your device? Doesn't it auto refund you if you uninstall?

    • +2

Nah doesn't auto refund :) Just press buy and then cancel the download.

      • Thanks!

  • Appears the deal has finished now….back to $6.99 now.
