        Don't think so. Only ddwrt and openwrt. The r7000 has a Merlin port.

        The C7 used to be great for openwrt but they changed the chipset in later revisions and now it's horrible for custom firmware. :(

    I did for faster wifi, fairly happy, although faster, range is weaker but same for most brands i believe(on 5ghz ch , 2.4ghz not as fast but better range similar to billion for me)

    Get the TP-LINK Archer C7 for NBN. Any router with a WAN port is NBN ready.

  I use mine (D7) with an NBN connection. Make sure you upgrade to the latest firmware first. Improves everything.

      I'm with Internode. FTTH if that does make a difference as some have noted but given the fibre isn't terminated to your modem that sounds odd that it makes a difference so I can only comment on my experience / setup.
