  • I've been thinking of getting a set of those Edifier Luna Eclipses as desktop speakers. Even though wireless1 is hugely overpriced, the 20% off kicks them down to $230, which is twenty bucks less than direct from Edifier.

Anyone have any experience with them?

I've got a set of Q Acoustics Concept 20s on the bookshelf on the other side of the room, so these are just for normal internetting/youtube/the occasional game/etc.

    • Might as well buy the R2000d for $260 @ Kogan ebay.

      • which one is more is highly rated?

      • Too big.

These are also bigger than I'd like (12 x 21 x 22), but I'd be willing to sacrifice a bit of desk space because I dig the design.

        • That's fair enough. I was thinking of getting the R2000ds for the TV/living room so size isn't an issue.

  • Don't forget to make use of cashrewards on your ebay purchases.

    Woot, thanks OP!

Two of those $59 128Gb cards just purchased… nice, thanks for posting :).

80Mb/s cards for that price is a bargain! Some of the recent Samsung ones are only 48Mb/s… I'm surprised your deal hasn't got a crapload more votes!

    • I don't know why this deal is not so popular and not many votes? Is there any reason or the new version is about to come out soon? I'm buying one of this anyway. Thanks OP

Coz they who needed an SD card already bought the Samsung one lol

    • What's the write speed? Someone told me 15MB/s which is a bit disappointing. The EVO+ is 80/20 r/w.

    • Woo! I got one too. Great price for local AU stock of Sandisk! Straight into my Nvidia Shield TV it goes! sweet!

      • Already got mine!

Ordered late on Thursday (after COB), and I already have it on Tuesday here in ACT.
Not bad Wireless1, not bad at all.

        Thanks again OP.

        • Nice! Should have mine by Thursday.

How's the packaging look if you don't mind me asking? Does it look AU Retail or Import quality?

          cheers

          @genes888:

          First thing I checked ;).

There's a great review online which goes into very specific details on what to look for on this particular card, I just havent got the link for you here.

All checks out physically. HQ packaging/printing/labels, card has all the right details on it (laser engraving etc).

Looks legit. Havent tested performance yet, but I'm pretty happy so far. Will hold off on ebay feedback until I get around to testing the card for speed and capacity though.

  • Thanks, I picked up a G29 as my trusty old Driving Force Pro seems to have stopped working :( Time for an upgrade!
