I decided to get the new Intel Skull Canyon Gaming NUC Kit NUC6I7KYK Mini PC Barebone Core i7 IRIS Pro@Futu NUC6I7KYK which was going for the inflated price of AU$1,049.00 and after 20% eBay discount was AU$839.
It's not everyones cup of tea at that price point but I just left my job to go Contracting and so I will try to claim this as part of my FY15/16 PC setup costs.
I already have a 240gb M.2 SSD from a previous sale and so I just need to find a good set of DDR4 SODIMM 2x8gb 2400MHz Ram to put in it. Anyone see any on the eBay sale? I only see these so far. Otherwise I'll have to hit the usual CPL/MSY/PC DIY places this weekend.
