The Laptops have been fully refurbished by Asus to the highest possible standards. They are NOT refurbished by a third party. They have been resealed with the manufacturers sticker.
The laptops are in full working order and carry a full 1 Year Asus warranty.
As they are refurbished stock, there may be very minor surface marks on them and we have inspected several units and they look like new. These refurbished Notebook are re-packaged into brand new packaging (with a serial number and factory seal) , but the contents inside are in the highest possible condition.

  Out of topic but I'm wondering for example Asus made 1 millions of these. When they can NOT sold them all, what happens with the left over? Yes sometimes we see discounted sale items being offered but I feel there are much much more un sold items that gone "missing" (not sold but not discounted). Insider information will be much appreciated

  In January I bought a similar spec machine for $2,000, its different, but similar core components.

  My laptop plays games really well, at 1080p and at High settings I play most games at 30fps. The difference between Ultra and High is usually not that big visually, the difference in performance is huge. I personally love HBAO though, which hurts that I can't always use it.

    I'd take this one, the one in your link is older gen CPU, lower GPU and win 8.1 (upgradable but time consuming)
