I received an email from PLE computers suggesting they had the aforementioned RAM for $149.00 (save $50.00). Not sure if that's a great deal, but for something that's got swanky white lights to give your beloved windowed beast a bit of swag, I'm thinking that's a pretty reasonable deal!

I think that's actually a good price yeah? 2400 is low if you want to overclock hard but it's otherwise a good price, I'm pretty sure anyhow. Last time I priced it was a few months back
I don't know why people overclock ram, the performance difference is near negligible.
Depends on your CPU and what you're doing. Faster DDR4 helps quite a bit in several games. If you can get faster ram for $10 or $15 more, it might be worth it.

Youre better off getting 16gb of 3000MHz as opposed to 32gb of 2400MHz if its for gaming.
Speed of ram is really starting to effect real world performance since ddr4.
