  • ive seen these speakers at Garden city Kmart for the same price

  • awesome. might get some when i get back home… hopefully robina kmart has some

  • so all kmarts have this? will have to pop down and buy me a set :)

  • i have these speakers and they are very good, sound is very clear, of course bass is kinda lacking without subwoofer but cranking them up to very volume doesn't not lead to much distortion

    • thanks for your thoughts about the speakers… what about the volume? can these get very loud? (or are they quieter because they're usb powered)?

  • I think these are $45 @ JB? Maybe.. ill double check tomorrow!
    Perfect for travelling!!

    • serious? anyone else confirm?

  • wait, so USB means they're USB powered? that's awesome, i just thought it meant they used a USB connector instead of an audio jack lol
sucks if you want to use it for ipods etc though :(

  • a bit of googling reveals these have a few issues with newer PCs:

"the software doesn't support windows 7 completely."
"the software only controls media players for the remote" if you just want to control the main Win/OSX volume, you just need to plugin the speakers and reboot a couple of times, don't install the logitech software which is very outdated and causes a plethora of issues.
"for best sound quality, use 24 bit 48 kHz (default setting 16bit 44kHz)"
"these are really really good speakers. very loud"
