Hi everyone!

We have a business booking service called Simplest.

Basically, customers can fill in our online booking form (www.simplest.com.au/booking) and we make appointments on the customer's behalf or recommend suitable businesses, completely free of charge! Our aim is to make online bookings and appointments as simple as possible.

We're keen on seeing what you guys think so anyone who fills in the booking form and arranges an obligation-free appointment in the next 2 days will have a $50 Coles Myer voucher mailed out to them!

Don't worry if you have no clue what 'service' you might be interested in. We can provide you with recommendations with some of our partner businesses - just attend an obligation-free consultation with one of them and we'll mail out your voucher once that has been confirmed.

      Hi jotay, don't worry about what services are / are not yet listed on the website. We're have plenty of partners around Melbourne and Sydney that haven't been listed on. Unfortunately restaurant booking services won't be a part of this promotion - thank you for asking! We'll definitely clarify this in our post.

      However feel free to fill in the contact form anyway to see what we have to offer around your area!

    Is this only available in Sydney and Melbourne? I tried searching for Hobart and Tasmania but nothing came up.

      Hi colormonochrome, yes at present we are only servicing Sydney and Melbourne. However if all goes well, we will be looking to service other Australian cities!

    Is this a brand new site? i.e. nothing appears when you google simplest.com.au . Your headline is "Australia’s leading business booking directory" . How did you quantify that or is this just an objective?

      Yes it's relatively new so we're still working on SEO! We're still in the testing stage. Our headline is subjective and objective - objectively speaking, we did a quick google search and there didn't appear to be any similar one-stop booking service for service professionals! (but feel free to prove us incorrect!)

        Rather than google etc for a restaurant I senf you a booking request and you book a random one for me? If I know the restaurant then I would book it myself. Genuine question.

          Good question, smashed. This booking service is largely intended for users who:
          (1) cannot decide either which service provider to select from (so we select it for them, contact our partner service providers in your area, and arrange the booking for you so you don't need to go on the hunt yourselves!) or
          (2) have a type of service in mind but are too time restricted to hunt for available service providers that fit their schedule
          (3) are not sure what they may need but would be curious to learn what kind of businesses around them are offering discounts / promotions!

    Hi, do we need to actually make a booking to be eligible for the gift card? Or do we get it by simply booking the appointment? I'm assuming also that the appointment will be basically a phone call? Thanks!

      Hi johndoe1, users will only receive the $50 gift card if they attend the appointment with the service provider as agreed. The appointments could be free (eg. a first consultation with a financial planner) or paid (eg. a booking with a dentist). No obligation to book a paid appointment though, but at least one appointment must be booked and attended at the agreed time and date.

      Good question Gavman! The $50 voucher is purely for promotional purposes. We hope to establish some traction and receive as much feedback as possible from users that have submitted a form before potentially approaching investors. It's the customer acquisition cost we've been willing to take on board to see how it pans out! Thanks for your interest.

    It doesn't seem well thought out to me.
    Ozb users are not going to be repeat users as we would want to find the best value and not just let somebody else choose a company for us.
    It is throwing cash down the drain.

      I do agree with you.. however they made this choice. To be honest we're probably not the right target market. The only benefit from promoting this here was getting their name out (albeit it to the wrong audience)
