I received this coupon code which gave $100 off the total checkout price.
Cheapest offer is $120 so still costs $20
but I got 5 dinners and 5 lunches for that $20
Cancelled the subscription straight away online
Seems like food will be delivered next Thursday which is a decent wait time.

Can't see any other limitations.

    • There is a postcode look up on their home page.

      • That tells me where it isn't, not where it is

        How hard is it for them to just write 'delivering to selected suburbs of Melbourne & Sydney' or some such

    edit: Their website has issues of autofill. Manually entered my details and works fine.

        • @easternculture: The first delivery date is Thursday 16th June for me. The recurring payment will start in 7 days (on a Wednesday). So they will start charging $120 before you even receive the first order. If you cancel before the first payment on Wednesday, that means you won't receive your order at all. Can anyone confirm if that is the case?

  • I ordered, got my order confirmation by email approx 20 mins later, then went onto the website to cancel. It says something like "pending cancellation" in 7 days so hopefully they don't try to charge one more order for the second week if it's pending in 7 days. Deleted the credit card for good measure. Hope this doesn't cancel the first order also if they cant also get payment for the first order. Hope it all works out - but if the food is good will at least order one more time to give the business a leg up.

    I wonder if they have any way to charge your credit card even after you've deleted it? Do you think it's ever really deleted or just archived somewhere?

    Hmm, I am starting to think it was a scam. Never heard of the site and it doesn't appear on Google somehow. Their live chat is gone too.
    I placed an order and never received any confirmation or account details.

          I’ve sent an email which has gone unanswered and nobody seems to pick up the phone.

          No confirmation received, but the order amount went off my credit card.

          Not a very good first impression.

  • I guess I will just wait until Thursday before I request a chargeback from my CC company. It would be my first time requesting a chargeback and hopefully it goes ok.

  • The next payment is in 22 hours for me. Anyone going to cancel as well? This might mean that the first order might be canceled too. Deleting the credit card won't work as they already have your cc details so they still can debit the card.

    Spoke to bank, they said it can't blocked unless I cancel the card. He suggested a charge back. :(

    If you've cancelled then you won't get re-billed.

    If you've ordered then you should be getting delivery this Thursday.

    • I cancelled my credit card just incase. My bank is sending me a new card with a new number and exp date so i guess they cannot bill me

      I don't think this is going to happen the way you describe.

      I ordered last week then cancelled - today I can see a credit back of $20 on my CC and my status on website showed as cancelled as from this morning.

      So doesnt look like I will be getting my first order which is due for delivery Thursday ie tomorrow!

      So got no deal in the end!!

      I followed your instructions and clicked cancel, but then I too noticed my credit card charge was refunded.

      I was actually keep to try out the trial week at the intro price to see whether it was worth it or not.

      Yet now my lunch plans for tomorrow are in limbo since you mentioned we should still get our orders tomorrow.

      Are you able to elaborate on your association with SFER?

      I've tried emailing and calling them but so far no answer/response.

    WTF ! I don't want any orders now. I just want all my money returned.

      • Yes, 5 days before delivery.

    • Assuming you cancelled, you should have gotten an email from them (I have) stating what easternculture posted above and in that email it states your card won't be charged again. If they don't refund it then go to you CC provider and dispute the transaction.

      I hope they don't charge me again either but my CC (ANZ Black) is so slow updating purchases. I cant see a transaction until about 2 days after which is ridiculously slow!! but that's another issue….
