If you have an eligible debit card you can just cash out the required amount (potentially even without purchase, depending on the staff member and their manager's policy).
Don't think this works anymore. The CBA app recognises when you're cashing out and the offer isn't marked completed.
Did you cash out as a single transaction on its own or together with other purchases? Last promo, I bought a dozen eggs + cash out and got the cash back.
It makes no difference. The cash out component has always been identified. Or if not literally always, then at the very least since July 2024.
@OnlyHans: Cashback received a bit quicker than usual this time, only 6 days after cashout with purchase.
It recognises but still works.
You can but they might not be willing to do it in one transaction as the Opal terminal doesn't have a 150 option.

Others may also have a Special Gift Cards Yello promotion, I won't post it as a bargain as I can't get the Special app or site to process a payment via Commbank's new in-app MFA feature. It either times out or worse, took a duplicate payment, none of which they transmitted to Special.
Such a big discount can buy so much extra with it :)

Previously I got the spend $100 get $5 back. I activated it but never used it. Prior to that one I got a spend $100 get $10 back which I redeemed.
This time around, after I didn't redeem the lower offer last time, I got the better one of spend $100 get $10 back,
I also wait for the Coles $10 cashback on $100 spend offer, using in the interim the 4% off Coles gift card purchases through my employee benefits program.
How are CBA Yello members getting these offers?
I’ve literally never seen a single one of these targeted offers.
I have zero offers i’ve ever found useful or interesting (e.g $300 of Origin Energy).
There's a monthly deposit requirement and minimum number of transactions to complete. The offers start to come after that.
There is no deposit requirement for the basic CommBank Yello tier.
Only have an eligible transaction account and make 5+ eligible transactions from that account to get the ball rolling.
