    • Got $10 for $50. I'll stack with the $50x4 spend for 10,000 FB points promo

  • +17

    Got $10 for $100 spend

    • +6

      I got $10 for $50 spend

  • +1

Would have combined well with the 10% off gift cards

    • +1

Can't you still combine the offers?

      • +2

Should be able to, I’ve bought Coles gift cards and gotten the Commbank cashback for it before

        • yea commbank cant really track your shopping like those cashback apps in your browser.

      • +1

I think they mean the 10% off ultimate gift cards that starts in 7 days:
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/902808

The yello offer expires at midnight on the 30th so couldn't I just go buy an ultimate gift card on the 30th itself and take advantage of both offers?

        • You are correct — did not realise the Ultimate GC offer was not yet live. Thanks

  • +1

Got $20 off $200. I forgot to use the $5/$50 in Jan and $10/$100 in March. Skipped the $5/$100 in Feb.

    • Looks to be random as I activated and redeemed all the past offers and am getting $20/$100 this round.

  • Yello Giftcard

  • +4

    Got $30 for $150 spend.

    • Same for me. Thanks OP

      • Same. I'll use it to top up my Opal card.

        • +1

I will just buy the coles gift card and use it as and when including opal top up.

          • @djsydney: Are you sure it's valid to buy GCs?

            • +2

@kampret: can confirm that it works with gift cards. I’ve always used the promotion to buy coles gift cards for my future purchases.

            • @kampret: Yep been doing it for months. Cashback every time.

            • @kampret: Yep! Any time I got these CommBank Yello offers I used them to buy either Coles or Amazon gift cards.

            • +2

@kampret: Even works for cash out

        • so you buy a coles gift card and then use it to top up for opal card?

  • Only got $10 for $100

  • 10 for 100 here

  • +2

$10 for $50 here. Thanks OP.

    • Same here, great offer.

  • New to these offers. Looks like any purchase including gift cards are eligible right?

    • +1

Yep. The T&Cs say otherwise but I always just buy a Coles Group and Myer gift card.

      • Can you buy gift card online?

Or need to go in store to get it?

        • +1

          In store.

    • +4

You can even just get cash out.

      Literally free money

      • Woh, never thought of this. Will give it a go

      • Not sure this is going to work.

The transaction on my account states:
        Cash out $100 purchase $21.80

If I don't see the cashback soon, ill just buy coles gift cards

        • +1

I did it last time just withdrawing $100 at the counter. Didn't buy anything at all.

          Got the cashback.

          • @Dalryk: Oh i might try counter then. Might be different than self serve

            • +1

              @D1Vad: There is no difference.

CommBank can see the cashout amount and it hasn't mattered. (This has also applied to Supabarn as well.)

        • +1

No need to worry, cashout has been working for a very long time.

          • @UrMumsOnlyFan: amazing, thanks for heads up. Ill report back if it comes through

          • +1

@UrMumsOnlyFan: You guys are legends, CBA app notification says i have successfully claimed thr promotion and Ill get the cash ack soon.

Man, i wasted a bunch of these previously as we shop at woolies and only get our bread at coles which is never enough value

  • Wow nice $20 off $100

  • +1

    Nothing for me!

    • +1

Same and im even on their homeowner plan too

  • Is this the offer where cash out at the checkout is included in the required spend?

  • +1

    Only got 10 off 50

  • +3

    Spend $200 and $60 cashback

    • I got that one. This post was a good reminder

      • Isn’t cash out treated as a cash advance?

        • +1

You can only get supermarket cash out via a debit card.

  • Does it work at Coles Local and Coles Express stores?

    • +1

Offer not eligible at any Coles Express locations.

      I’m guessing Local would work.

    • +1

      Local works, Express does not.

  • -2

7 days to activate and spend

Nope, I didn't get this offer in the app.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Anyone see the menu log delivery pass offer

    • probably targeted. I struggle to justify menulog with the inflated prices anyway.

  • I guess after that CBA meltdown ytd this is the way they try to snake their way to “compensate” and save face 😆 either way 20% (more for some) Coles is generous! Great deal thanks OP

    • +1

      Didn't even notice the meltdown

  • +3

So how can one open commbank Yello without glancing at your account balance and crying? Asking for a friend

  • did everyone who got these have a CBA credit card?

    • My CBA CC just approved this morning. Yes.

    • yes, but debit cards will get it too if you qualify

      • +1

i only have debit card and I get other offers but not this one… it mustn't like those 1c transactions that I do

    • Only have a debit card and got the offer.

      • do you spend a lot each month?

    • +1

I only have a CBA Smart Access account with linked debit card.

I get paid into this account and it's linked to my primary PayID so whenever someone pays me back, I receive money into this account. Otherwise the money goes straight through this account and into various HISA accounts at other institutions and all my spending is done via churn credit cards of discounted gift cards.

    • Got the offer. No credit card.

  • Thanks @WookieMonster for updating my post I couldn’t see the “Targeted” tickbox was about to ask someone to add it on for me

    • +1

I was not the one to mark this as Targeted. Only a moderator can mark a deal as Targeted. (I only tidied up the title and tags.)

If you want a deal to be marked as Targeted, you can use the report function and choose the reason as Targeted Offer. A moderator will assess the report and action it accordingly.

Unfair!!! Got $20 for $200 spending.

    • unfair? I got nothing

      • +1

        Name checks out lol…

        • that's not how to use it

    • +1

Hrm, want to swap for my "spend $10 for $50" ?

Do you know that you literally get $20 for free if you withdraw $200 cash?

      • lol I don’t. Thanks for the tips.

  • Any way to buy coles gift card and use it to buy a Special gift card?

    • +2

That's like trying to pay for items at myer with David Jones gift card

  • +1

    $30 off $150 spend
Flybuys 2000pts for $60 spend as well

    • Did you need to activate that Flybuys' 2000pts?

      • Yeah I got an email for it today

    • For some reason Flybuys stopped sending me bonus points ages ago, don't know why. I only get Woolies one (Rewards) these days. Had the same issue with JB Hi-Fi's "Perks" offers as well, but l started getting them about a month or so ago.

    • Thanks, just checked and got it.

The 2,000 points offer states exclude gift cards, do they mean it? Or just standard T&C but not really excluded?

      • +1

        They mean it.

I have not been able to get one of those generic bonus points offers to be triggered by a purchase of gift cards over the last few years.

  • Nothing for me, I find it weird that I've been getting it every month and as soon as I hit Everyday Plus (30 transactions) for one month I don't get it.

  • will i be eligible for cashback if i purchase TCN Shop gift cards?

  • +1

    $5 for $50 spend here
Bit stingy but ill take it

  • Just made a $54 purchase and also took cash out to take me over the $100 spend. It clearly stated on my card account that $50 of the spend was cash out so we’ll see what happens… 🤞

    • +1

Yep it always says that but it still works
