Just got the Plantronics Backbeat Pro and wondering how these would compare.
I am not fussed about the noise cancelling stuff, more about the functions and if they work properly. Also comfort as the Plantronics pinch my head.

Some first impressions up on head-fi, cnet and mashable.
Keep in mind this is just my personal opinion from a quick test in a Bose store, QC35 test units are not on display but they should have them.
The QC35's sound better and feel better on the head (I have a big head) with a much better noise cancellation over the Plantronics and the current Bose QC25's
You can pre-order the QC35s for $449 (that's a $50 saving) through Audio Trends. Free pickup in VIC and postage is reasonable (e.g., $8 for NSW/ACT/SA/Tas). I have a pair of Bose Soundlink On-ear wireless headphones which I've had for a little while now and am quite happy with. However, I'm not gonna lie - very tempted to upgrade to the QC35s…
