Thanks OP! I find this to be the best and most affordable Travel Insurance.

    • No problem! :D

  • TID, 1cover or southern cross?

I was just literally googling that before I posted this haha! All of them seem to have cat least 10% off discount now. Ive heard and read that it's easy to claim on SCTI so I went with them.

I'm doing more searches, after TID and price was nuts, even with discount. AustPost doesn't even work.

2 Adults, 1 toddler, 3 weeks in Ireland.

        TID $300-10%
        SCTI $189-10%

  • Ah dang. I booked my insurance through these guys a couple of days ago! Good find though!

thanks OP! i was waiting on a SCTI code to book!

  • One thing to note is that the "comprehensive" cover is missing some options (especially coming into winter) such as the option for Winter Sports cover. In fact, it explicitly doesn't cover off-piste snow sports or "Sporting equipment or bicycles damaged whilst in use." under Losses We Do Not Cover Under Sections 3 & 4 (d).

  • Thank you! bought my for US trip.

  • awesome, just bought for my Japan trip

    WOW still works

  • Awesome! Just worked for me also, cheers :D

  • thanks still works

  • Still works! Came up cheaper than TID, Allianz, 1Cover, Fast Cover and Virgin Insurance.

Note that SCTI have an extra allowance for unspecified items that aren't laptops/cameras - they cover $1k vs others who cover $700/750. They also cover $2500 total per trip in jewellery, vs others which are $700/750 each set of jewellery.

  • does not work for me…
