Chuwi Hi 8 pro for $79.99. why is GB always more expensive than Everbuying , Gearbest and even Banggood ?

    • Always is an over statement. There have been plenty of deals recently that have been cheaper.

This tablet is currently cheaper than all 3 sites you mentioned. You shouldn't compare apples to oranges.

      • Ok not always but most of the times. Why would someone get a 1280X800 resolution tablet when you can get a Full HD 1920 X 1200 IPS tablet for $80. Like I am 1000% sure geekbuying can never even touch the Redmi Note 3 Pro prices in Aliexpress or Geekbuying. Why would someone buy from GB when things are cheaper elsewhere on Aliexpress marketplace without using any coupon. These coupons are a farce. The Mi Band 2 big fanfare launch on GB for US $40 when aliexpress sellers buy from distributors au US $25 and happy to sell it for US $30. Cheap TNT shipping is the only saving grace why people still order from GB !

People looking for a review see here : http://techtablets.com/2016/05/jumper/

      • $1 US cheaper on gearbest and 4% cashback with cashrewards

  • Hey
Can you get a deal on CHUWI HI12?

    • Yeah sure. I'll let you know tomorrow.

      • following

        • http://techtablets.com/chuwi-hi12/review/ there was a $30 off coupon on the bottom of this review said expires 14th of June but when i went though on website says its expired already

edit: actually at the top of that techtablets.com had another code for 9% off 3956D2 so brings down the price to AU$323.67 shipped on banggood for the Chuwi Hi12, can geekbuying beat that price

  • I got a Chuwi Hi8 Pro for about this price not long ago. Same sized screen and specs except 1920x1200 res which is a lot sharper. And dual boot with Android.

    • Only major difference in terms of hardware is this is using USB 3.0, larger battery that lasts longer due to lower res screen and no KMS.

Physically the back plate comes off to securely fit cases better than your standard tablet case.

    • have you tried the usb-c port on the Chuwi Hi8 Pro with a usb3 external hdd have read that even though says it will do usb3 it connects only upto usb2, i'm mainly going to be using tablet to cast to tv so a lower res on screen does not bother me trying to choose though between so many 8" windows tablets is so confusing though.

      • I can't tell whether it is USB2 or USB3. I got no Type-C devices to insert into it. I bought a converter from China but it was faulty, and I waited 2 weeks for that to arrive. Can't be bothered ordering another one.

My USB3 EXT HDDs use USB Type-B, which I'm not sure if a converter exists to go from C to B.

I could test it with some USB sticks, but like I said, I have no adapter for them.

        • should be able to tell from the light on ext usb hdd if its white its connecting at usb2 if its blue its usb3.

my Jumper EZpad Mini 3 order from gearbest has been canceled or something says cannot ship at this time and is offering me refund in gearbest points or exchange for equivlent value which seems like a scam to me its still selling on the site

it does say We will refund the unavailable item price and exceptionally reward you with extra points (e.g. If your item is 1usd = 5 points , 3usd=3*5 points => get 15 points etc) so would that be better then exchange might order the Chuwi Hi8 Pro

        • @spedstyle: The Chuwi is good.

At 1200p resolution, you can watch any 1080p video, which is the standard resolution for most things until 4K.

With an 800p tablet you're going to get downscaling. If you can get it for the same price may as well get one that can handle anything.

Gives you more real estate on your desktop too.
