My miele is hands down the best vac i've owned EVER!

It's not this model, colour or specs, but my comment would hold weight if it was.

Waaay too much to drink to be useful to the community….

    Bam

    • Just came across this message now…
      Soo hung over!
      Sorry OP and general public

i always suspected people who love their vacuum cleaners were drunk

All I think of when I see this brand is Russell Peter's stand-up……. Click!!! Miele!!!!!!!!!

Bought this one a couple of weeks ago. Very solid machine and the best one we've owned to date.

Only thing that irks me is it doesn't have a radio on the telescopic wand to control the suction so you're always going back to the main unit to adjust. This wouldn't be so much of a problem if it didn't suck so well at Max settings.

My previous vacuum had tea rqdio so I guess I'm missing it.

The higher spec models of this vacuum have a radio, but they're much more expensive.

    Either way, can go wrong.

  • What timing! Thank you OP!

Was going to wander off to the shops to haggle and fight with the salesfolk to buy the Miele 'Cat and Dog' cleaner today, so have just saved $105.80. I then purchased a 'maxipack' of bags/filters.

Bottom line is I got Cat and Dog cleaner plus the bags for $5.00 more than the cheapest price I could find anywhere for just the cleaner - all whilst sitting on my butt playing keyboard warrior.

  • Legends,

I am thinking about Miele Complete C3 Allergy Vs Dyson DC37C, Any recommendations on which one to chose both are of similar price range.
Miele dustbags seems to be expensive so leaning more towards bagless Dyson. Is anyone using generic cheaper dustbags for Miele vacuum.
We don't have asthma or anything we just use once in a month to clean the carpet. Any recommendations for other vacuum cleaners.

Go the Miele. Bagged is so much easier to empty. No dust filled nostrils. The genuine bags aren't that expensive. I think $20 for a pack of 4 and 2 filters.

A bag lasts nearly 4 months for me.

I'll never buy any other brand of vacuum again.

yep.. for me, dyson is rubbish after using a miele. When i purchased mine from HN last year, they gave me 4 boxes of the dustbags and a couple of the filter replacement things. I would never go back to dyson after using miele

I bought the C3 Cat & Dog with the CLICK20 deal. I was deciding between a Miele and the more expensive Dyson. After reading reviews, i found there are lots of bad Dyson reviews but none for the Miele.

Bought this exact model from TGG during the last eBay 20% deal a couple of months ago. I was also lucky to buy when I did cos at the time, Miele had a promotion to claim 4 boxes of dustbags for free.

In short, it's a great vacuum. Your experiences may vary as I live in a one bedroom apartment with low pile carpet and no pets, but I've had asthma and prefer bagged vacuums for these reasons. It sucks really well, is the quietest of any previous (and admittedly dated) vacuum I've had, and I haven't even to change my first dustbag yet. I was also swayed into buying it going off the good rep of Miele vacuums in general.

    • I think cats and dog including this one. All together it's similar price with buying seperarately

      • yes, cat+dog includes turbohead, but excludes hepa filter :)

  • Hepa has to be replaced eventually anyways. U can just buy 1 and use it instead of the normal filter next time u need to change it.

  • got this one, really good deal.

Fantastic vacuum, the turbobrush attachment (we got it with the Cat & Dog on a previous sale) is a fantastic addition to this too if you have a lot of carpeted areas.

Bags are really cheap too, as you really don't need to change them as often as you would expect to
