  • So you are saying that if you but 480 of these tubs, you get a discount? How many cats do you have? This is over a years supply if you just have one cat. Does the cat food even last that long?

    • What I am saying is buy it Rawwwwr!!!!

A stray cat turned up to our place around the same time as our beagle passed away couple of years back. Been with us ever since. We probably feed her around 3 85g packs/cans a day plus cooked chicken and popcorn etc few times a week. So 480 pouches would probably last 5/6 months according to my calcumalations. Best before dates on these are usually around the year mark.

      • That's a lot of food, is it a fat cat? We feed ours 1 pack a day and some dry food and I think she's getting chubby!

        • She's ave size I would say. On these it says give around 2-3 of these 85g packs a day so we just go by that. Plus cooked meat every couple of days. Looking at what's inside these packs I say the stuff is quite decent actually. Whiskas cans and especially dry food however I would not recommend.

@syba Btw got mine delivered today and the best before date on there is early 2018 so a fair amount of time.

I'll chime in before somebody mentions that the cans are probably cheaper. They probably are (I haven't checked though) but the cans and the plastic packs are made in different countries. One is from Australia the other New Zealand. Different product and flavour. One is probably rabbit or lamb meat the other kangaroo or horse, or something like that. While they say Beef or Chicken on the pack, usually it's only a small percentage.

I don't have any here as my cat who ate them passed away a few months ago, but she loved the packs and hated the cans. It definitely ain't the real meat they quote, as my cat would wolf down these Whiskas packs but completely ignore real mince chicken or beef. Very fussy. Thankfully my other cat eats just about anything, much easier to please!

Also my mother found the packs easier to open, but it was still difficult for her to squeeze all the gravy out of the pack. Arthritis can make opening cans a little tricky. Something to consider.

    • My cat doesn't drink enough water so we need to add extra to his wet food meals. An easy way to get the remainder of the gravy out of the pack is to add a bit of water to the pack and then squeeze it all out together. The first time my cat turned his nose up at watery food, but is now used to it and doesn't complain :)

Just my 2 cents but I wouldn't feed my cat Whiskas. Some of the shittiest commercial cat food out there. Feed if you must (e.g. on a budget) or if you just don't love your cat.

So true…not saying this isn't a good find, stacking all discounts together but for the effort I'd rather just find some of the clearance VIP cat food pouches for $3 at target. That should at least be a step up.

    Okay how about this one.

Billy the kid turns up to school with a cat
Teacher: Why did you bring your cat to school Billy?
Billy the kid (crying): I heard daddy tell mommy, I'm eating that p*ssy when the kids leave!

Buahahaha that was pretty funny. Not kitten.
