    Great mouse, i have 2.

    • are you left handed or right?

      • Left handed AND right handed

      • +1

Right handed lol, sadly this mouse is only for right handed

        • Ah. OK. Answered my question already. Not for lefties

Save up for the G900, it's worth it.

    • The new g900? It's on sale on eBay atm. So like 180 bucks instead of 250.

    • +2

I picked up the G900 for $158. Mightyape on ebay using the 20% discount "CLICK20". Be quick as it ends today.

      Fast delivery and awesome mouse.

      • Thanks guy.

      • Just fyi, I ended up getting the g900 because it is ambidextrous (and u can actually switch buttons around so they dont end up on the wrong side) as I have some RSI issues and being able to switch hands helps with this.

    • +7

Can't really see myself spending 150 on a mouse though

there was a post on Overclockers.com where someone had taken a EVGA Torq X5 body, fitted an arduino with a wireless transciever and a G502 sensor as well as a small battery. Completely wireless, and turns out it's actually faster than the G900.

You mean to tell me a modified product is faster than a 'stock' product?! What a time to be alive…

      • Do you by any chance have the link to the thread?

Can the extra buttons be programmed for program specific tasks, or is it just for games? I'm looking at one for work and using it with a cad based program.

    • +1

      yes can program them

      • Thanks dabell, I'll grab one.

  • Guess i be getting the rgb g502, great post op

    • $5 for league of legends code
      what say you?

      • Too poor and too much of a tightarse to pay $5 for it aha :(
its actually cheaper to buy it from the store because the skins cost less. Thanks anyway!

  • Only Mornington and Frankston showing stock in Melbourne now

    • +9

Make that just Mornington. Might be a cheap mouse in Frankston but what price do you put on your life?

  • Damn, I just bought the proteus spectrum from this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/251047
$20 extra for a few extra lighting options so not worth it!

    • oh there's a difference?
i thought they were the exact same mouse

      • yeah, afaik the only difference is that the spectrum offers RGB led lights vs core's teal lights, not worth the extra $20 imo

        • I agree :( If only the stock lights were red to match my kb.

        • @dogboy: if you don't mind voiding warranty could always swap it out to a matching LED

I went to hardley normals looking for this mouse but wasnt in stock.. however their mouse pads were really cheap. Scored a g240 mouse pad for 11 bucks. Ither mouse pads also cheap. Too lazy to post a deal myself.

    • Poor form. Take but not give. Post the deal!

  • G502 or MX Master - which one would you recommend for frequent creative work and occasional gaming?

    • +1

would go with the G502 IMO.

  • I wonder if someone who is going to buy the mouse but not interested in the code for League of Legends. Can you give me the code please? Thanks in advance.

  • anyone did send a request to get the skin code?

my friend submitted the form 2 weeks before but not yet receive anything yet.

  • doesnt seem to be any stock in Brisbane

  • I use one of these and it's a great mouse. I do have one problem with it however, I cannot comfortably reach the "sniper mode" button which lowers DPI on the fly. Perhaps it's because of the way I hold it (claw) but I simply can't extend my thumb far enough to reach it so I've forgone using it entirely.
