  • I don't know what "As New" is supposed to mean, but this seems like a good price.

  • +2

As new = new…delivered maybe and returned unopened, cancelled maybe when monitor at freight depot. Great find OP.

Edit: considering qty, likely not even delivered or excess to requirements.

    • I bought one last week and the box was unopened, so really brand new.

the box seems to be have had a sticker before (like the ones Australia Post use) but someone took that off before posting to me.

  • Very good price!

    4% cashrewards too

    • Might not work considering the live chat requirement to order.

      • Yeah I can't work out how to do that - any tips?

        • +2

Tip: Enjoy saving $60 over the eBay deal from last week without having to wait for cashback to apply :-)

  • Great. I've been waiting for one of these….. annoying having to order with online chat - their first response was send me all your details and we'll check inventory…. anyway will persevere.

    • Yup, currently trying to get a deal done through a rep on online chat. Asking for the same thing, probably standard protocol. Hopefully get it sorted soon enough.

      • Meanwhile I'm still waiting in online chat (they confirmed availability then disappeared)…. all units probs now gone.

        • Managed to cop one in the end. Ran into a bit of a snag though - the rep I was originally chatting to got disconnected right after she was about to set up payment, but the next rep was kind enough to reconnect me and finalise payment.

Hope you managed to get one too.

  • got this for $560 last week from eBay. :(

    • I bought one from ebay last week as well. It was the cheapest at that time. I enjoyed it.
Should I buy another one to lower my average cost?

This 1 from dell outlet only has 1 year warranty. Yours has 3 years which is much better value imo.

  • My laptop is 1080p with i7-5th gen. Would I be able to achieve the maximum resolution this monitor produces?

    • +1

Does it have a display port? You'll need that to drive it (or dvi but i don't see many laptops with that. HDMI won't put out enough bandwidth. DVI-D (dual link) or Display port only need apply.

      • only HDMI port I think. Might need to build a PC lol

    • I believe so

    • My girlfriend uses my older 2713HM with her old laptop, via HDMI, and can only seem to get 1920x1080 on it. Mind you, I haven't tried to drive the HDMI output with the discrete graphics card yet.

    • Using HD Graphics over a laptop's HDMI connection, I've been able to display 2560x1440 at 55p Hz. You just have to select customised resolution.

  • This is a great deal! have the monitor and it's a great value screen. Excellent quality.

  • This is so cheap, stellar deal delivered!

  • Is this monitor considered 4k and good for gaming??

    • The resolution of the panel is 2560x1440, so it is not 4k (which usually starts somewhere around 3840 pixels × 2160 lines)

    • It's IPS, so not as "good" as the say 144Hz TN based monitors. But you get much better viewing angles, accurate(er) colours). The lower res gives you more breathing room for games.

      • 8ms is far too slow for gaming, unless you are into RTS games. And IPS bleed is a killer if you play dark games or at night.

        • You make it sound like 8ms is crippling for games. It isn't.

        • lol, just lol….one of the best monitors out there for gaming as well as business…and for $499

  • Thanks. I am hoping to upgrade to a 4k monitor.

  • How does this compare to the 4K P2715Q ?

  • didn't see one in the link, all gone?

    • There was 22 in stock 30 mins ago when i checked.

Maybe someone purchased all 22 :P

    Awesome! grabbed one! thanks OP!

    • Looks like you got the last one(s).

    • How long did you have to wait to be contacted to finalise the order?

I got on chat at 90 minutes ago and still haven't heard back.

      • I started at 1:57pm and am finishing now at 3:24pm. I had to start new chat windows twice to get it finalised.

        • I just jumped back onto chat, and are processing my order now :)

      • It took me an hour from asking about the monitor to finalising the order with payment. I posted my status just after it was completed.
        Chat started at 1:55PM

I just finalised my order. Took a total of 2 hours from initial chat, to hopping back on and making payment.

    This is dell outlet.
As new means it's used one…

  • u kidding me, all gone already!? oh man…

  • I bet someone buy in bulk and resell later on

  • There were 22 left about 45 mins ago. That's fast.

  • Damn just when I want to grab 3!

  • How does this model compare to SAMSUNG S27D850T?

    • S27D850T is selling $650 @futu online, after 20% dicount, it is about $519.
Is it a good one? Anyone knows this model?

      • Yes, it's a very good monitor and has higher specs than the U2715H. Supports 100% sRGB and 81% Adobe colour by default. Being an ‘8-bit plus FRC’ panel means it can display a wider colour gamut if you have the necessary GPU to drive a 10bit display. Its PLS panel is similar to IPS.

  • while a good monitor, its better to aim for dell's 2560 x 1600 ones.

  • how do you get the 4% cash back?

    • u dont on this deal….and all sold :)

  • +1

4 Back in stock on the outlet.

  • I received mine this morning. So that's just under a calendar week (5 business days) to get the item. Haven't checked the box or monitor yet to see how 'as new' it is, though.
