"These packs if used correctly can give you 2GB data each day for 10 days."

    More info on this please

So you can activate this pack on the Pay as you go plan which gives the credit a 30 day expiry

As it's $30 credit that can be used to get 10 $2GB data packs with each data add-on lasting for 24 hours from the time added (Link below)

      http://www.vodafone.com.au/prepaid/add-ons

      • Can this be done with MyMix credit???

9GB with 1 week expiry data currently $25 on MyMix, if you bought those data packs with the $25MyMix credit included (if it works) that's 23GB over 7 days for $25.

        • Data add-ons from credit can only be done with the 365 day option

    • Or 2gb data each week for 4 weeks.

  • Is this the same as the Woolies 50% off Vodafone prepaid kits from this post?

    Thanks!

    • yes it is the same kit

      • Thanks for that!

        • See Below for dates as the PAYG and 365 day is being removed on June 22.

If you buy a pack before June 22 and activate it you'll have 365 days to use the credit meaning you have 10 banked 2GB usages for the next year

          http://www.vodafone.com.au/mcp/payg-closure-opt-out

  • I also saw Boost $20 starter kits going for $5 at Moonee Ponds K-Mart today if anyone is interested and/or wishes to post this deal.

  • So it needs to be activated on the 365 day plan which will no longer exist as of 22 June 2016. If you buy the pack now and activate it before June 22 then you can still get the 2GB for $3

  • How do you actually use the combo credit.I saw that everytime you activate a prepaid starter pack you get $30 combo which I never knew what to do with it.

  • As it's $30 credit that can be used to get 10 $2GB data packs with each data add-on lasting for 24 hours from the time added

Nope you need to pay extra out of your own pocket to get Data packs. (happy to be proven wrong tho !)

    • Snappy1234, I'm with you, I've tried to convert the credit to data in the past and you can't do it as a matter of course. I have successfully done it by begging with the call centre in India a couple of times on different Vodafone activations as a goodwill gesture, but more than one time on a number is not really achievable.

      • So you need to activate it on the 365 day plan and then use the following instructions

        http://vodafone.intelliresponse.com/index.jsp?requestType=No…

The SMS code is different and is actually 1264 when on the 365 day plan

        • Tried that henrus…sent the txt to 1264 and got no reply, so thought maybe a glitch in the matrix so sent again
and then got a txt back saying "We're working on your request, you'll get a confirmation TXT shortly.
To purchase another pack, please wait a few minutes before trying again
          "

Then 13 Minutes later i get another txt

"Reply YES to use your flexible credit to get a 2GB Data Add-on for $3 to use in OZ"

Have sent the reply saying YES
but no reply from Vodafone :(

So anyway thought i would send a txt to 1512 to check my balance and it was there (2GB data Pack) Yay

But even though i have data switched off it has taken 02 cents so if it keeps doing that am not going to get my full value from recharges (only bought it for data packs really)

          So henrus THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am on the 365 Day plan BTW (was told by the Vodafone shop i could not do what henrus says works and i just confirmed it just now :)
          Cheers.

    • @chav

EDIT: i have followed henrus instructions and YES you can buy from flexicredit -But it only works on the 365 day deal which closes soon.
see my other post for more info.

  • It look like a combo starter kit,so it can't be activated as 365 plan or payg plan.

  • Can confirm that combo credit can not be used to buy the $3 daily 2Gb data packs.
I activated online and got 3Gb for $15 which isn't amazing but it's not terrible.

    • When you activate online you need to pick the 365 day plan. Then you can add the data add on's.

I was able to do it today successfully.
