Free game looks limited to Xbox 360 games only so probably not the best offer for ps3 people but i suppose the free game could be traded in toward your next purchase.
Best to get in to your local EB store as quick as you can if you plan on taking this up as i reckon they will run out pretty quick…

lol anyone notice that apart from Pure all these have been hard bundled with the 360 before. They have had thousands of people trade these in. good way to clear their excess.
There was a Lego Batman/Pure bundle.
I don't think Kameo was ever bundled with a console, but then as a launch game they seem to have oodles of copies anyway.
didn't know about the pure bundle. Kameo has been bundled on at least 3 occasions that I can remember. Twice with gears of war and one other time by memory….
misleading title, should be something like….free game with a purchase of $10 or more
I would have marked it as a freebie if it was 100% free. I felt it was too much to put in the title… it says you need to spend $10 pretty clealry in like the third line of the description and that is visible before going into this page… but fair enough I'll edit the title now anyways…
nothing to get excited about…none of these free games is good anyway…
If you only just got your console you wouldn't turn down PGR or Forza if you were into car games
As they have a lot of "capital" tied up in their used game library, this is a bad sign I smell cash flow problems…
Some of these games like Viva Pinata have probably been in their inventory for years
Toy Sale time isn't far off, this might be an attmept to build buzz for little cost (the freebies are all games that sell for less than $10 on sale and are bought for less than $5 in credit).
They tend to have an oversupply of certain games and these games are the sort of preowned stock that's hard to sell. Giving away a game that cost them somewhere between $1 and $4 in credit in order to get you in the store is probably cheap as far as marketing efforts go, especially if you go in and spend $110.95 on a new game.
This is stale stock too - some of it they've had it for a couple of years and haven't been able to shift despite pricing it as low as $7. Better to get rid of as much as you can to make room for stuff that makes better profits. Poor turnover is harmful to a retail company, especially one like EB where the price you can sell stock for plummets so quickly over time. It's the reason all the major retailers put stuff on clearance, to get rid of it so that the space can be used more profitably.
Weren't bundle titles in one double DVD cases. IE 2 games in one DVD case. Would seem hard to separate them Unless you get both games.
EG Lego Indiana Jone & Kung Fu Panda or Seaga Superstars Tennis & Xbox Live Arcade.
They cut the cover in half, put them in separate dvd cases
The bundle copies are in separate cases either with half the cover each or with one of those generic covers EB uses when someone trades in a game with no cover.

Also, couldn't they just increase prices by $4 to cover the free game?
Some of them are on sale right now for $4 and they've definitely all been $13 or under.
Still, it's an opportunity to fill in gaps in your collection… Something like:
* Enchanted Arms + Pure for $13
* PGR3 + Scene It + Forza for $12
* PGR3 + PES 6 + XBLA Unplugged + Kameo for $12
That is of course assuming there's something you want on sale right now and that there's something you're interested in on the freebie list…

I went to EB today and they had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the deal.
bought pre-owned ghost recon advanced warfare for $13 and got forza 2 free, just had to show the ad (showed pic of it on my phone)
