    This trades colour accuracy and viewing angles for a faster 1ms Response Time.

    Dell generally has IPS displays (but not all models)
    This has a TN display, which monitor snobs will never consider buying because it washes out when viewed from other angles.

    good for gaming (the solo kind, as opposed to screen sharing where you might not view the display at a straight angle)
    poor for photo editing and other colour sensitive work

    There are monitors out there though which have TN panel but still produce very good colours (Some manufacturers say they can cover 100% of sRGB with a 8-bit display) but in theory IPS and PLS still produce better colours when viewed at any angle.
