  • can anyone confirm is it a good deal or not ?

  • I thought that's pretty good considering the set includes a number of odd bits plus a ratchet drive handle.

The 41 pieces set was on sale a couple of months ago from $19.99 to $12.99.

  • i want this

  • I agree. I have this as well and find it very good. Whether it is $19.99 or $12.99. I'd recommend it.

  • +1

This is the sort of thing that you don't think you need it until you need it.

  • How's the quality of the bit pieces? Some of these bit sets I've bought before get stripped easily.

    • I'd be interested in some feedback on quality also.

I've written a quick review here!!

The tools seem pretty good from first impressions, i havent had a chance to really try them out, but they were not damaged at all in my little mishap (see "test 1")

        EDIT: updated with pics

    • The 32 pieces bit set has the description of "high strength S2-grade Chrome Vanadium Molybdenum steel alloy", the sets all look similar but not sure if they are identical.

    • I have had one of these sets from DSE for years now and besides a couple of the smaller hex bits breaking (due to my abuse), a bit of rust and one closing latch not closing it is my most useful and frequently used set I own (and as my wife repeatedly tells me - I own a few too many)

      • LOL. I get the same thing from my wife as well. She calls me a hoarder. All I need really are the "rare" bits. Don't really need the handle or box.

  • i just bought one, they look pretty good. I'll play with them and let you all know later tonight

  • Good kit to have around! Brought something similar before, these bits definitely come in handy!

  • is this another cheap China made steel that crack/broken easily?

just like those in $2 shop?
