  • This came out on the weekends.
Good deal. Just hopefully waiting for the price to drop further ;)

  • this is a single card right not sli on one chip like the 295gtx was…god im so behind

  • 399 aint nowhere near bargain for this things performance, whoever jumps on the new cards bandwagon has too much dough to burn.

    • This price is a bargain for this particular chip, don't know how fluidtek did it. I reckon it's still quite a bit of money to spend for graphics though. I remember when this money was what the fastest card would cost.

  • Sometimes i wish fluidtek posted…not in this case tho to much money for a gfx card!

  • +1

If they beat MSY by $60, thats a bargain to me… still can't afford to splurge $400 on a new card though.

Nvidia's mainstream cards will be released in July/August.

If you can't wait, ATi cards are a very cost-effective option!

  • That is a good deal, its a price drop of $60+ compared to other sellers. I will still wait for the price to drop before jumping onto the 400 series bandwagon.. Im not too sure how bad the heat or noise gets with this series of card vs the ATI cards.

  • Supposely, its not as bad as people's been saying. Mostly it has been the ATI supporters thats been using this as their defence against the series.

  • no offense to the hardcore gamer, but its hard to believe a graphic card cost the same as a netbook…

    • Yer but a netbook cant game, he he. Gaming on a PC is pretty comparable to gaming on a console anyway. The long term costs of gaming on a PC is much cheaper. Imo.

    • Aehahe, thats like saying, its hard to believe an original sports spoiler, bodykit & sideskirt upgrade option on a Lamborghini Gallardo costs about as much as a new Holden small car.

  • console hardware is fixed, pc hardware in general you upgrade every 6/12mths to run new games smoothly, costs more for better gaming, however console games can be more expensive!
