    was looking at similar Saeco ones but reports/reviews said they didnt make the coffe (milk) hot enough and you couldnt adjust the temp.
    this Eletta lets you adjust nearly everything,

        New, about 9 months ago.
        the buttons are capacitve soft touch, not click buttons, very swish.
        makes good coffee, the flat white setting is what we use when we use the milk function, other wise its either 1 or 2 cup black coffee setting.
        you can have your own coffee setting , adjust the coffee strength, amount etc.
        water, grinds etc are all access from the front, nice and easy.

          That one has good reviews and has most of the functions of the expensive one, only thing I cant find is if its possible to make 2 latte style drinks at the same time.. IE:- does it "beep" to indicate changing cups, or do you just make individual drinks one after another.

          it is good, we saw a rep demo-ing a few models and this seemed the pick compared to the much dearer model and a lot better than the cheaper range. The dearer one didnt have as many dedicated buttons for coffee styles - I like being able to just press one button for what ever style I want , flat white , cappecino, black etc.

          to be honest I havent tried, I just put one cup under press the button and it make one cup. while I am passing that cup to whoever the next cup is under and being made.

          thinking about it, there is no room for two cups under the coffee spout when the milk canister is in place.

          I did look at a lot of brands around the $1500 mark and for us this seemed much better.

          refurb prices are very good.

          great prices, have gone the cheaper option and got the Eletta Cappuccino ECAM 45.760.B. Has all the features we need, (and the missus said NO to the dearer one) so I guess we'll have to make do with this. Lets hope its just an ex display or demo model and not something thats had 10,000 cups through it.

    received mine today… smashed in transit. phoned delonghi, and they were pretty good about it, and they are arranging for it to be picked up, but toll cant collect until Monday, so will be a while before i get a replacement. Was a large impact mark on the carton and when I pulled it out it has smashed the water tank and the base was cracked as well.
    Not happy, but what can you do… looked like a new unit to me, but did have factory second sticker on the box and other than being smashed up, I would have been happy with it as a second. Also came with everything a new unit would, ie descaler, filter etc
