  • So if I'm only allowed one amiibo which one do I get?

Classic Colours Mario. It's certainly a unique take of turning an 8-bit icon into 3D, plus it has a nice weight to it!

        Cool! That's cheap too. Thanks!

        • Though if you're only going to buy one amiibo only, it's best to buy one from EB at $8.98 - since shipping from Beat the Bomb is a killer (no pun intended).

        • @silverrat23: ok. Thanks! Will look out for him at shops first

    • My favourites are wolf link and ryu. Eb macarthur mall had a few ryu in stock and liverpool had a couple 2 weeks back.

But the 8bit marios are big for $9 so feels well worth it.

    • Shipping is $8 so the cheapest one ends up being $15. You're better off going to big w or target and get them for $10 each.

  • I can't find the Sonic amiibo anywhere, online (Aus stock) or in WA! >_<

    • Same…after sonic and mega man

If you are in New South Wales or Queensland there are still some Sonic amiibos in stock. I managed to find a Mega Man one today at my local EB Games store.

        • Which eb is this if you dont mind me asking, im in nsw.

Ebay wants $20 for megaman and the ozbargain in me cant bring myself to pay that much one when eb is advertising for $9.

          @zorrt:
I got a Mega Man from Belmont EB Games in WA and there seems to be quite a few here in WA. I also did find a preowned Sonic one in the end which I had to settle for.

Looking at EB Games website there is a Mega Man in Ashfield so you might want to call them up and hold. For the Sonic one you can find one in Mittagong, Armidale, Kempsey or Airlie Beach. If not you can try price matching at JB Hifi, Big W or Target. Happy hunting!

        • @davicta: thanks! Placed an order for mega man for pickup, hopefully it's there and theyll hold it for me.

No way id get out to those places with sonic though, never heard of thoses places before but good tells me theyre a good 6hr drive from me…

check on ebay for mega man, thats where i found him for $5 also in package. ended up costing me $13 (including postage) i was too lazy to drive to the other side of town to pickup. i was happy enough to find him and at that price.

even tho a true ozbargainer would of done the drive

        • I've had to face the same dilemma as you to buy elsewhere or at EB Games. In the end the true OzBargainer in me forced me to buy an amiibo to pick up later at EB Games. It will be a 26 minutes drive just for a cheaper amiibo lol.

        • @davicta:

26min drive is ok, to drive over an hour up n back. Rather pay $7 for it posted

  • The yoshis at $15 is also a pretty good deal, since I can't find stock of anything cheaper.

I caved and got a pink from JB 2days ago for $25 :( sigh.

    • Buy the cheaper one and refund back the other one from JB. I've read online that they might do refunds within 7 days but your mileage may vary depending on store, staff or manager.
