    Price?

    $799 + postage

I doubt anyone would buy this for $1600. The right price point would be $350 - $400 max

Kogan has a similar one for $309 + postage

      Really? similar?

Doesnt look that way from the link you provided. Maybe you need a Specsavers deal πŸ˜€

Unless of course you beileve a $19 phone is similar to a Samsung Galaxy 7 becaues it makes calls.

This unit uses induction technology and like the thermomix has built in scales whereas your Kogan is based on the early design of the original thermomix, rather than the more featured latest product. The Kogan is more like the cheap Target Bellini

Best price for this thru Google is $1449

Its $1000 on ebay from the official store. Maybe your are the one who needs a specsaver deal

There is a reason why these are discounted, because nobody buys them. Wait a few months and the price will even drop further.

Seriously, are people so lazy today that they need a machine to chop, stir, whisk, crush etc for them.

I've seen people buy bread at a store. I mean are they so god damn lazy to grow and mill their own flour to then bake into bread?

So based on this $700 is a deal now.

Which is what I was saying.

In 6 months time a Galaxy7 will be cheaper and so will many other items.

And yes maybe we can share a 2 for 1 Specsavers deal πŸ˜€

  • $999 at David Jones. This will be a good deal if combined with a discount code and cashback

  • Make sure you look at the $499 Bellini from Target. Seems to be quite popular and has similar functions.

  • I bought a Bellini versionfrom Target 2 years ago for $249 on special and it's still going strong.

  • This is probably most comparable to the Thermochef which RRPs for around the same price (can be had for $599 + shipping at Everten though).

However the Thermochef doesn't use induction heating (not sure how much difference that would make in this case) and the scale is not integrated into the bowl, but on the side.

Not sure if its the right price point though if these are the only extra features when compared to a Bellini that seemed to regularly go on special at around $249 - $279..
