    • They are not doing price beat.. Some weird excuse regarding 1 hour policy for domestic flights.

        As long as the flight times are within one hour of Tiger's fares, they'll beat them.

        • ended up booking with tiger.. no regrets.. too cheap already..

  • First time I've caught this Saturday deal but I realise the Syd->Per deal while great is no longer really beneficial as a stop-over to Asia unless you've never been to Perth and want to. Assuming two overnight stopovers for a safety margin, the savings are quickly eaten up by accommodation and other expenses (assuming the Sydney flight are bought on special).

    Does anyone know a destination that's more than $300 cheaper return leaving from Perth but under ~$650? South Africa seems out. Possibly the Middle East?
