resolution is too low 480X234.
wouldn't go any less than 800X600 pictures will lack detail and clarity
that resolution is fine for a 7" - a higher res wouldn't help that much really…
800x600 is only for 4:3 frames (which are better as most digital photos are 4:3)..
4:3 frames are usually 8", 10.2", 12" or 15" although there are some rare cases of widescreen 8" frames and maybe a few of the others too.
Still… I can't say anything over $50 is a good price for a 7" DPF…
I'll be selling 20" digital frames in a few months, of course that's a completely different market :)
It seems to be showing the old price still on the website, however shortly it should be updated with the new price as listed above.
